Duncan et Courtney Question

Why did Courtney try to change Duncan in TDA?

This has been on my mind for a while now. In the seconde half of TDA Courtney tried to change him. However in TDI she still liked him despite his behavior. Is it because:

A: She's a perfectionist and wanted Duncan to be the perfect boyfriend

B: It was a part of her antagonist role in TDA

C: She thought Duncan wouldn't break up with her (because of her rules/contract) and hook up with Gwen

ou the reason could be completely unknown thanks to the writers.

Anyway, I'd like to know what toi guys think. Why did Courtney try to change Duncan in TDA?

i don't believe that she was truthfully trying to CHANGE him, i just maybe thought that she was trying to embrace the nice Duncan, so her parents maybe would've liked him better. also, btw, she didn't know FOR A FACT that it was bugging him. he never told her!

Well that's true. However, I believe that all of this was driven par her jealousy towards Gwen. How I saw it, Courtney was trying to prevent Duncan from hooking up with Gwen par giving him the contract and expecting him to follow it.
