I prefer the Doberman to have cropped ears and a docked tail. Otherwise, it looks like a hound.

@TwilightPhantom the tail of the Doberman isn't any different from any other tail from other dog breeds. If you use this logic the tail of every dog should be docked. In my opinion docking and cropping is for optical pleasure and also provides a lot of disadvantages for the dog like difficulties in communication, difficulties in running, jumping and so on. Because the docking causes extrem pain to the puppies they need a lot of painkillers and often times also antiobiotics. I would like the dogs to stay as natural as possible wothout having more disadvantages because of humans idealic 'beauty' like the poor Pug or Shar Pei and many others. Thos ideals become more extrem over time
