Doctor Who has a wide range of characters. From villains, monsters, Doctor's, Master's, companions and extras, there's a wide range of men, women, homosexuals, heterosexuals, bisexuals and asexual's in this montrer and the expanded universe.

The women are what I'm going to be talking about today.

As 90% of the companions in Doctor Who are young women, toi can imagine that there are many women to choose from, whether from both the classic series and revival ou just one of them. And that's not even including all the "extra" women ou the villain women!

So as toi can imagine, there's going to be a lot...

 The 11 Doctors....But Who Kills 10?
The 11 Doctors....But Who Kills 10?
Taken From DigitalSpy

"It is returning, it is returning through the dark ... he will knock four times." The psychic lady on the 200 bus a dit these darkly prophetic words to The Doctor during the conclusion of 'Planet Of The Dead', whipping up the tension ahead of David Tennant's impending departure. But who exactly wants to get in touch with The Doctor? We look at some of the possible characters who might be flexing their knuckles (or tentacles) in advance of the knocking...

The Face Of Boe

Although we've seen the bodyless Face die on screen in 'Gridlock' 5 billion years into the future, he's...

Except saying that she’s vain because she fell in l’amour with Ten instead of Nine is absolutely incorrect, because she fell in l’amour with Nine first, and initially did not accept Ten because he was not Nine.

Putting aside the fact that Christopher Eccleston is quite attractive (he’s not “pretty," no, but have toi seen his eyes? They’re the color of an arctic ocean; they’re beautiful), anyone with eyes can see that Rose fell in l’amour with Nine first. She may not have realized it, she may have not been as open with her affections, but it was there. For example:

It can be argued that this...

 David and Matt.
David and Matt.
We all know David Tennant has left Doctor Who and made way for the 11th doctor, Matt Smith. But many die-hard David fans (inclduing myself) just can't seem to accept the sudden change. Too me the 10th Doctor was humble, quick-wittied, handsome, charming and selfless. All the qualities that David made lucid and unforgetable. It was bizarre and dipairing knowing that his Doctor was... over. Don't get me wrong, im starting to like Matt, his versatile and eccentric performance drew me in instantly. People say he made the Doctor his own, but too me, it reminds me to much of David. The enternal struggle between who is better David ou Matt, seems never-ending, and in all honesty it's a Lost battle. Opinions will always be objective and arguements will forever alternate. I guess we all just need to accept the inevitable; Davids gone and Matt has replaced. We always have the dvds, right?

These are rumours that have been proved wrong, are just plain rediculous ou don't actually give anything away. I just thought it might be nice for people who want to find out if Matt Smith is leaving after series 6 etc etc without sifting through all the other spoilers that can, well, spoil it for you.

- The Sun published a rumour that Matt Smith would leave after the 2011 series, a rumour which was picked up par several other media sources. This has been denied par Matt Smith and Karen Gillan. Another BBC insider a dit that Smith will stay until the 50th anniversary of the show, in 2013.

This isn't a review of Steven Moffat's writing, this is just an opinion/conclusion/observation I've come to. toi can agree ou disagree with me on this and I'd l’amour to hear both sides. I believe Steven Moffat is trying to completely déplacer away from Russell T. Davies' Doctor Who series. He changed the look of the TARDIS and the sonic screwdriver. If toi think about it, only 2 enemies from the précédant seasons were mentioned again in Season 5, the Daleks and the weeping angels. The Daleks are a classic Doctor Who enemy, while the weeping anges were something Steven Moffat created himself. He wrote...

BBC's Overview of Amy Pond

The Eleventh Doctor isn't the only new face in the TARDIS as the Time Lord is joined par the feisty, fantastic new companion, Amy Pond! We know their paths traverser, croix in the series opener, The Eleventh heure and that she accompanies him through time and space, but aside from that, what is Karen Gillan, who plays Amy Pond, telling us?

Discussing Amy's relationship with the Doctor, Karen muses, 'She doesn't take his word as gospel and she's always happy to challenge him. If he tells her to do something then she won't necessarily do it, she might go off and do her own thing which can sometimes create a rift between the two of them! They are best pals though and it's a very up and down relationship because they are both very passionate people.'

Sounds like it might get stormy! Karen agrees, adding, 'They have quite a turbulent relationship but it's also really passionate and they care about each other... It's a great relationship!'

“We went through the sort of, milestones together. The first read through,
our first jour on set, then we got our first block finished. We’ve had these really huge things in life that we’re sharing.”

(On filming 'The Beast Below') “It was so fun! Me and Matt were just messing around most of the time, throwing cabbage at each other.”

“We’ve grown closer every day. I’m quite fond of her, actually, it has to be said.”

Matt: Hi! No one cares about your silly bedroom.
Karen: *throws oreiller at him*

Matt: You’re a bit prettier in the game.
Karen: I knew that was coming.
Karen: I think they’ve been a bit generous to Matt. He’s got a bit off a structured jaw, which isn’t really there.
Matt: Let’s not go there.

When did toi start watching Doctor Who?
-Unfortunately I started watching it quite recently. I think it was the beginning of March of something, just before season 5 started...

The BBC's Overview of River Song

River Song is an archaeologist from the future who the Doctor keeps meeting in the wrong order.

He first met her on the planet of The Library, but we haven't yet seen where she first met him. So her journal is packed with information the Doctor feels he shouldn't know about yet. They're going to be very close: River knows the Doctor's real name and she even has a sonic tournevis of her own that she claims he gave to her. She even knows how to fly the TARDIS. The tragedy is, the Doctor knows how River dies, so when the two of them meet at the crash of the Byzantium, share that picnic at Asgard and whatever they did together at the chant Towers, he'll have a terrible secret that he won't be able to tell her.

River has a knack for getting into trouble and knows the Doctor can help her get out of it. But as for just how much they meant to each other: spoilers!

So, as toi may already know the Doctor Who spot has just held it’s first ever fan of the mois competition! It led down to a nail-biting tie between Disaster and me… Surprisingly, I won! So right now I’m about to start interviewing myself which is a little weird. I feel sort of self-conceited!

How do toi feel about winning FOTM?
Oh my gosh! It’s such a great feeling! I’m extremely proud and to have won against those people. It’s weird as they do so much that’s amazing on the spot and they’re so active! In my opinion, they all deserved to win it so much plus than me! I was ecstatic...

Back in 2006, my friend Joseph talked me into watching this amazing télévision montrer that we like to call, ‘Doctor Who’, well that’s actually its name and that’s why we call it that title. Anyway, after the success that was ‘Rose’, the BBC commissioned series 2 for the following year. After the series 1 finale, Christopher Ecclestone regenerated into the fan favourite, the Tenth Doctor played par David Tennant. Obviously at the end of series 1, we knew that David Tennant would étoile, star as the Doctor and Billie Piper would return as Rose Tyler.

[Note: This liste does not feature ‘The Christmas...

Back in 2008, the coming soon trailers for Series 4 got me plus excited than I’d ever been before for Doctor Who. Every Trailer I saw got me plus excited than previously. I remember when I was waiting throughout that break between ‘Voyage of the Damned’ and ‘Partners in Crime’; I kept watching the trailers on the Doctor Who Website wondering what gems Russell T. Davies would offer up this year. So does Series 4 of Doctor Who hold up compared to the précédant years? Holy Hera, Yes! Anyway…let’s get straight into this retrospective.
