Pecos Bill Ends A Drought
According to some tales that cowboys tell, there was a coyote raised cowboy along the Pecos River. This gave him superhuman powers and he was a spectacle, an unusual marvel. His lariat ou lasso was as long as Texas so he could rope the whole herd with one single throw and he used New Mexico as his pasture and fencing the whole pasture didn’t complicate things as it would for others because he persuaded prairie chiens to help him dig the post holes!
