I wanted to put them all in dresses (or, the closest they got to "dressy") to say, ay, they made it this far and they wore dresses. Idk failed message attempt. anyway, I feel it's time for her to go. It's just that all the other girls really fought for feminism, while she just, didn't. so yeah. BTW I really need some comments for some of these girls. I'm not exactly sure if I like how everything turned out, but I guess will see. Have fun!

People are voting for Merida? (*Screams silently*). Anyway, Jasmine says a lot of feminist things but then goes back on them, like the whole "prize to be won" thing.

All talk, no action. Oh wait she's does take action, she proves her ignorance...and also exploits her sexuality. Ya know feminist LOVE that stuff. *sarcasm*

Time for Jasmine to go. She's only made it this far because of a line she said. She forgave Aladdin for all the lies her told to her without even thinking, she used her sexuality to get attention from Jafar, she is only a ticket for someone to become a Sultan, she can't rule on her own etc. She may kick ass int he Tv series and sequels but she doesn't really do anything in the movie. She just serves as a reason for Aladdin to get the lamp and wish to become a prince. Plus when Aladdin mentions her all he says is "Her hair, those eyes". Nothing about her personality. The movie itself is quite sexist.
What if she had not met Aladdin? Then she wouldn't be able to convince her father to not make her marry.
I don't see how Merida is winning. She may have her some "damsel in distress" moments but she grew to be a strong independent lady.

I agree with Manu: Jasmine is never given much agency and the only time she tries to change her life it nearly cost her a hand, leaving Aladdin to rescue her. She tries to use her power as a princess to save him but then Jafar intervenes and has Aladdin "executed." Then there's that other scene with Jafar that is totally inappropriate for young children.

It's time for her to go. She stands up to Mother Gothel, but that's all.

^ I didn't know "eh" was an explanation. So you choose her because "eh"? If you are going to comment at least write about the reason you picked Merida. No offense.
