While Beast and Belle send a good message I think it doesn't do as well as the other two. Beast becomes a handsome prince(though I think he's homely) which I think makes them go down hill when comparing them with the other two. With Fiona and Shrek it's nice that instead of the ugly monster becoming a handsome prince, it's the beautiful princess becoming an ugly monster(though I think she's pretty as an ogre). However just like with Belle and Beast it goes down hill because it's like you have to change to be with someone.

With Madellaine and Quasimodo I love that neither has to change their looks to be with each other. Quasimodo is still ugly and Madellaine is still a beautiful girl. This proves looks don't matter and even though the movie wasn't that good they're one of the best couples ever. Madellaine finds that she doesn't have to be a lying thief and that she can change if she wants to; and Quasimodo learns that he was wrong that nobody could ever love him, it's possible that someone could love him. "Finding you can change! Learning you were wrong!"

I think this one represents it best just because there's no magic involved and no one could magically change or have a magic potion.

I think that the fact she transforms into an ogre rather than he into a prince is the better way to settle the example.
