She's last on my list, but I still like her. She's so graceful and elegant!

There is nothing to dislike about her, the only complain is that she didn't get more screentime - because of that, she is not even in the bottom of my list, because what's there is very likabel.

^ that's dumb, jasmine didn't get that much screentime either, and i love her. i think aurora's personality is weak and boring, she's just the typical damsel in distress and even if she had more screentime, her personality would be exactly the same

I have been having a love/hate relationship with her. Just a few months ago I didn't like her, but now I'm back on the love relationship. Even though she is a typical damsel in distress I love her because she is dreamy, graceful, elegant and beautiful.

i love her!sleeping beaty was my favourite fairytaly since i was a child and when i saw the movie i thought that she was so gracefull and preety that i liked this fairytale even more.maybe we dont know much about her but i dont really care...

I agree she could have been more developed, but what we saw of her was pretty nice. I liked her relationship with the fairies, for example. :)

@pretty_angel92: Jasmine had more screentime, and didn't sleep through half of hers. She was much more proactive and much more of a presence on screen than Aurora, so why is her comment dumb?

I've always liked Aurora. The first time I watched her movie, I was about 8 or something and I remember wanting to be like her when she was dancing with the animals. She's not one of my favorite princesses but yeah, I like her. I like all of them.

To explain further: It's not just that Aurora sleeps most of the time, she also doesn't say a word after she cries on the bed. We don't really know what her plans or motivations were - did she feel that her duty to the country was more important than running of with some guy (something I would fin admirable)? Or did she just want to meet her true parents? Was she afraid about marrying a stranger? Would she have done it? Did she understand the danger she was in? Jasmine is very vocal about her wishes, but Aurora seems to be under shock (which is understandable - I would be under shock too, if I came home, in seventh heaven, and then my aunts drop the bomb that they ae fairies, I'm a princess and that I'm supposed to marry someone. That must be overwhelming). I also protest against the word "damsel in distress". That is someone who doesn't fight although she has the chance too - Aurora doesn't have a chance, she actually isn't even aware of the danger she is on. (Nevertheless she does manage to fight against Maleficent's spell for a moment, which is quite a feat in my eyes). I would compare Aurora to a picture without a background - but while I somewhat mind that the background is not there, I can live with filling it out for myself. Rather that than a background I really dislike.

I have to agree with most of you, so is not one of my favourites. Yet she is beautiful and kind, as you can see with the animals. Like all the princess she has a very good voice and she sing one of the most famous song in the movie. She is a dreamer and a romanticand believes in true love. But Aurora has not alot of screen action and maybe said not to be the main character in the film. Yet many people can relate to her and if you were going through what she was - not allowed to see her true love again and finding out you had parent and were a princess you would be silent. Therefore i feel that the walt disney producton team wanted people feel her sorrow and emotion. Yet aurora has a cheeky swide to her and she is not as elegant and kind as people may think, has she disobey the faries and talks and dances with a stranger. Aurora is still likable and many people are gald with her waking up and find her true love.

I don't really see what's wrong with being a damsel in distress. Not all women are arctic thugs. Anyway, I'm not going to get into it b/c I'll explain all my thoughts in my next article. I think I'm going to write an article like something called "Redeeming the Princesses"

She also isnt relateable in the least bit. I dont like how she freaks out about not being able to see philip again, when she should be freaking out about the fact that her whole life has been a lie. On the other hand, she is obviously very classy, elegant, and kind. I love her relationship with the animals, and I love how much of a hopeless romantic she is. The scenes she is in are my favorite scenes from ther movie, and I think she's very beautiful.

She's not near the top of my list, but how can you hate her? I love her! She's so kind, gracious, elegant, and such a DREAMER. She is beautiful and kind hearted, of course i love her
