@audreybrooke, Me too! It's really annoying when people say she's boring. I love Aurora, and if you pay attention at least a little bit, she has a very distinct personality. She's imaginative, playful, and even a little bit sassy. I could watch her over and over. She's not boring at all!

I agree that she's not that boring a character, but the question asked 'why do you think people believe Aurora has a boring personality?' Not 'does Aurora have a boring personality?'

Well, she's dreamy she's not totally interesting, but she isn't boring. If you look hard, it's quite a charming personality. I'm not saying she's totally deep and complicated, but she's not boring. She just has a simplistic personality and that's why people say she has a boring one.


EDIT: The reason I think people believe she's boring is because she's simple. I understand the question. Hopefully...

^As I said before, I'm not asking if you think she has a boring personality, I'm asking why you think others believe she has a boring personality.

I suppose I'm just sick of the constant "Sleeping Beauty is boring!!!" around here. I'm all for differing opinions, but it's all a bit overwhelming sometimes. So to see a question like this rubbed me the wrong way a little (and I may have misunderstood it at first).

Maybe. I think it's because people don't see anything about her personality that stands out. They think she's the epitome of Disney Princess.
"She sings, she dances, she cries, she sleeps. She's dreamy-and that's it" I've heard that so many times.

Like most of you, I see a clear and interesting personality, though I agree that she doesn't develop noticeably during the movie, I like what we see of her.

I think this answer sums it up best. I like Aurora for the most part. I like how if you really dig deep you see more of her personality and that she's more that just singing and dancing. BUT this question isn't asking what I think of her, but what I think the majority thinks of her. I haven't heard many people say they dislike her because she has little screen time but what she does with it, and she's the epitome of the Disney princess. Most people see her with a personality, but they think that it's just filled with hoping for a guy to rescue her and until then she'll sing and dance (Again, NOT my opinion) Also lots of brainless nut jobs think that she pricked her finger on purpose, where she was obviously under a spell.

I couldn't find anything interesting in her! Somebody needs to tell me! I even WASTED my money to watch Maleficent to see Aurora's more personality and found nothing in it.
