No. They have a few similar features, but to me they look very different.

Well, mostly. Anna just has smaller eyes so she looks better. (but not in that picture. Someone burn that cross eyed picture)

If you look at Anna from the japanese trailer, her hair is a very different blonde from Rapunzel, Anna's has more of a ginger tint. Also, Anna's eyes are more foreign with a diagonal turn and they're green. Yes they're both CGI, yes they're both females, yes they're both blondes, but beyond that they look really different.

I see the non-similarities, but I still think she could look more original. Anna's body type is real similar to Rapunzel's, and from what I've seen, her personality is, too.
But who am I to judge Disney's character designs?

For crying out loud. why do people always act like hair/eye/skin color means you don't look alike? this annoys me so much. what if we were all black and white? they would STILL look alike.

your features are what makes you look or not look like someone. hair, eye and skin color is irrelevant. and yes, they look like sisters.

however, as dclairmont pointed out, the new trailer shows her looking more different, which gives me some hope. her eyes look more upturned, for one thing. I dislike this pic of her here. she looks like a crosseyed ginger Rapunzel.

they don't look alike because Rapunzel has green eyes while Anna has blue eyes. Anyways Anna has a rounder face then Rapunzel . Anna also has a button typed nose while Rapunzel has an upturned one .Anna's haircolor is honey hazeled while Rapunzel's are gold . oh well nobody can stop Disney.

BUT look at all the princesses face shape, they are all the same!!
And look at cinderella and sleeping beauty, they have the same lips, eyes,noses.
