Disney Princess Toddlers

I don't know if I'm alone on this, but I've become quite tired of everyone bashing the earlier princesses and saying they're bad role mannequins for girls. Personally, I think parents shouldn't be relying on fictional, animated characters to be the role models... but that's a whole different issue altogether. In this article I want to address the common complaints towards the princesses: waiting around for/needing a man, not being independent, etc...

Snow White:

I want to start with a reminder that Snow White is only 14-years-old. Face it, her story is no different than any other 14-year-old...

9.Jasmine
I used to think jasmin wasn't all that pretty. But when I watched her film I realized she's much prettier in motion than she is in still clips. Even so, though, I never found her all that attractive, even as a kid. She has a big nose and her eyes look freakishly large in a lot of scenes. When they get her right, she's pretty, but that's only in about 2 scenes. I think she looks like an alien most of the time.

A lot of people have been complaining that La Reine des Neiges and Raiponce are so alike, how Anna and Rapunzel look like twins ou cousins and blah....well, I'm here to give reasons on why they're different.

1: Anna and Rapunzel

I know, I know, so Anna and Rapunzel "look alike." I feel like the fans say this because they were both structured the same, with a circle/oval head, the young eyes, and young face. Hey, at least they don't have the same hair color! Anna and Rapunzel were both made up par the same base, meaning the same body, but with different looks, that's all!

Remember me? eeeh? Well I remember a loooong il y a par march I commenté about having a Disney theme quinces (if toi don't know what "quinces" are it's exactly like Sweet 16... but with 15... and in latin america :b)

Rapunzel is one of my favourite princesses. I'm tired of listening to people criticizing Rapunzel and saying that they don't like her for the same reasons, so I wanted to write an article to explain why I don't agree with them.

Rapunzel is flawless

She is not perfect! She's very insecure and at the beginning she's not very brave. Also, she's indecisive. Of course, these flaws don't make her a bad character, but it's just easier to relate to her.

Rapunzel remains the same during all the film, she doesn't change.

Ok the truth is that we don't see a dramatic change in her character, like with Eugene....

Well, as toi guys may ou may not know, I've been doing a series of "Why I Love" articles for all the princesses, and since I've already done my eight favorites, I decided to try something new instead. For my bottom five favori princesses, I decided to make a new series of articles talking about what prevents them from being higher. 10. Charming (283 points)

Charming and Prince are always the bottom two in every list; best looks, most heroic, etc, but Prince was generally liked plus than Charming, which is why he is dead last. There was practically no positive commentaires about him except that he is better and plus likeable in the sequels. What people (practically everybody)...

11. Merida: Kelly Macdonald
I can't see many similarities between the two, but to be fair she was animated par Pixar and not Disney. They both seem like strong independent women though :). And I found a picture where they have similar hair!


12. Anna: Kristen Bell
I can see similarities in face shape. Also their eyes are both curvy. I have to admit that Kristen looks plus like the original concept to the actual one. I Believe it was changed possibly to the complaints of fans that she looked too much like Rapunzel.



13. Elsa: Idina Menzel

I like all the princesses a lot, but Tiana is my least favori of the bunch. Tiana has her good points in my opinion par her everlasting dream to open up her restaurant and her motivation to work I find inspiring. But still, she just isn't quite as fun as I would prefer in a princess... a bit too serious for my tastes....
