I started this countdown when it was Couples Month, but I had a lot of personal stuff going on, so it took me a while to get back on track and finish it.
Whether it's a Kiss at a wedding, a Kiss that brings about a wondrous transformation, ou if it's a Kiss for a dead person, we all voted and the results are in!

13. Cendrillon & Prince Charmings Wedding Kiss
Have faith in dreams, and someday, your arc en ciel will come shining through...
Have faith in dreams, and someday, your arc en ciel will come shining through...

Cendrillon has just married her very own "Prince Charming". There are plenty of people who l’amour Cinderella, but her relationship with Charming lacks a hell of a lot of heat, passion and romance. Even their Kiss at the end is sort of a "bleh" moment. Here's what some of toi had to say...

"Eh. It's far away and pretty boring." - Straggy

"It is just not memorable." - BKG201

"It's sort of lame.. every other Kiss had some ZING to it, this one was just sort of like.. "hmm okay..." - callejahLUVSed

12. Ballroom Kiss
Certain as the sun, rising in the East, tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme, Beauty and the Beast.
Certain as the sun, rising in the East, tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme, Beauty and the Beast.

As the Prince and Belle celebrate their new life together, he twirls her up in the air, around the ballroom, and they share a quick, but sweet, kiss. They both look so happy it literally makes me sick!

" Short, sweet, but not very memorable. The others mark special point in the movie, and this doesn't."- firegirl1515

"I don't even remember this one."- madisonsavanna

"This... well, I just watched Beauty and the Beast last night, and it was very short... in fact, it was right after the Kiss that "unenchanted" the castle, so it wasn't even significant really other than a scene switcher."-AllegroGiocoso

"I absolutely l’amour Belle and Beast's ballroom kiss. It's so short and sweet and yet full of passion." - misssy

11. Wedding Kiss
Now we can walk, now we can run, now we can stay all jour in the sun...
Now we can walk, now we can run, now we can stay all jour in the sun...

Right before the movie ends, we see these two share one plus passionate kiss. As they sail off in the vast horizon they lean in one last time and lock lips.
"I think it was a bit too short."- LionaChoco

"Meh, no big deal."- callejahLUVSed

10. Kiss par the river
Dreams do come true when toi believe!
Dreams do come true when toi believe!

As the movie comes to an end, Tiana and Naveen dance around celebrating their new life together, and they share a very sweet Kiss on the roof of their new restaurant.

"tiana and naveen were already married par the time this Kiss rolled around. it's not as dramatic." - Gleek4ever

"The Kiss par the river is way better, I mean, they've just been turned back into humans! Can't really get much better than that :)" - callejahLUVSed

"Ahhh I l’amour Tiana and Naveen's Kiss par the river. It's one of my favoris if not favori Disney kiss. A lot of people don't really seem to care for it but it's just so sweet to me because it's after they're married and it just shows that their l’amour is lasting." - misssy

9. Snow White's Kiss
 Someday we'll meet again...
Someday we'll meet again...

Everyone is sad because they think Snow White is dead, then along comes her handsome Prince. He gently kisses her (which many people find gross...locking lips with a dead girl), and she magically wakes up.

"It's not a little disturbing. It's a lot. "Oh, this girl has been dead for days - possibly weeks? I'M GOING TO Kiss HER ROTTING CORPSE!"- Staggy

"Still kind of creeps me out, not going to lie." - kenzieiscool

8. Tiana and Naveens Transformation Kiss
toi just kissed yourself a Princess!
You just kissed yourself a Princess!

Tiana and Naveen both realize how much they l’amour each other...in fact, they l’amour each other so much they were willing to stay as frogs- if that aint l’amour I don't know what is! They get married in the bayou par Mama Odie, and when they Kiss they magically transform back into human form!

"Kind of awkward in my opinion. I mean, they're frogs. Sure it's magical and all, but frogs s’embrasser is weird." - boolander25

"I l’amour the transformation kiss. It's got them all sweet as frogs then there's the green light and the bubble and they break apart as humans... It's just MAGICAL!" - Straggy

7. True Loves Kiss
And from this slumber toi shall wake, when true love's kiss, the spell shall break.
And from this slumber toi shall wake, when true love's kiss, the spell shall break.

The Princess Aurora sleeps peacefully in her tower, waiting for her true l’amour to pucker up and bring her back to life. After Prince Phillip defeats the evil Maleficent, he races up the stairs, leans down and softly kisses her rose red lips.

"Just a copy of Snow White's, imo." - ppgbelle4

6. plage Kiss
There's just one problem left...how much I'm going to miss her.
There's just one problem left...how much I'm going to miss her.

At the end of the movie, King Triton decides to transform Ariel back into a human because he knows that she would never be happy again otherwise. She rises out of the water in a gorgeous sparkling gown, runs to Eric, who picks her up, twirls her around, and then lays one on her.

"They don't really DO anything. They just lock lips and stand there motionless. Plus, Ariel looks weirdly fat." - Straggy

"I l’amour this couple to death" - ppgbelle4

"This one has no passion whatsoever." - Mongoose09

5. Secret Kiss
Only when the fighting stops can toi be together.
Only when the fighting stops can toi be together.

Pocahontas and John Smith both meet up in the woods at Grandmother Willows tree. They both want to make things right between their people; that's the only way they can offically be together. John Smith agrees to go talk to Pocahontas' Father. Then she kisses him. Meanwhile, an angry Kocuom, and curious Thomas are watching from a distance.

"It's sad." - princesslullaby

"When I was little I liked the Kiss but now I dont like it. It is something with the Kiss that isnt good and I dont know what it is." - sweetie-94

"That's so passionate and beautiful to watch!" - Straggy

4. Goodbye Kiss
No matter what happens to me, I'll always be with you, forever.
No matter what happens to me, I'll always be with you, forever.

After John is shot, he has to go back to England. He asks Pocahontas to go with him, but she says "I'm needed here". So they share one last kiss, that is heartbreaking, but full of passion.

"DEFINITELY. The goodbye Kiss is passionate and has so much emotion to it. Pocajohntas really know how to make out! Plus, it's much plus memorable. I always remember this kiss." - Straggy

"Again, I dislike all this ending, I mean its emotions, not the plot, but I just l’amour all these carpet scenes, so I prefer Aladin and Jasmine's one." - ppv

3. Carpet Kiss
A whole new world...a whole new life...for toi and me!
A whole new world...a whole new life...for toi and me!

After they find out they can marry, Aladin and jasmin take a romantic carpet ride as fireworks explode around them. They share a very sweet Kiss as they fly off into their happily ever after.

"the moment feels much plus happy... Aladin and jasmin have FINALLY gotten to their happy ending after their struggles in the movie." - AllegroGiocoso

" I just l’amour all these carpet scenes, so I prefer Aladin and Jasmine's one." - ppv

2. Balcony Kiss
 Goodnight, my handsome Prince...
Goodnight, my handsome Prince...

After a very romantic carpet ride, Aladin takes jasmin back to her balcony. They tell each other goodnight, and slowly lean in to kiss, and then carpet pushes Aladin up making them kiss. Both seem a bit surprised par this, but it doesn't slow them down.

"I adore the balcony Kiss and I think it deserves to win without a doubt. It's unexpected, like the relationship, but it works and fits together perfectly. There's so much passion in it as well." - Straggy

" I absolutely l’amour the balcony kiss. It's the most realistic." - princesslullaby

1. Fireworks Kiss
 It is you!
It is you!

We were all sad when we thought the Beast had died, then all of a sudden his body rises and transforms into a man. He stands up and turns around to face Belle. She looks at him, running her fingers through his hair, looks into his eyes and she knows that it's him. They caress each other and then share a most passionate kiss. Fireworks begin to explode and the château and it's residents transform. It's truly a magical moment.

"I thought Beast and Belle's Kiss looked beautiful, when we have a clear side view of them, before the fireworks went off." - TigerRanma

" I agree with the first posters, its pretty epic, Its the first time we see Belle and Adam as humans together and the first time they kiss, its pretty epic." - Persephone713

I know we've probably had an excess of these over the last few months, but I don't care. In my humble opinion, there can never be too many articles defending Walt's girls. I believe Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora just as much praise and recognition as any of the Modern ou Renaissance princesses. The three classic Princesses receive a large amount of criticism. They include "weak", "passive", "need a man to save them", "boring", "do nothing", "need a man to save them", among others (that last reason is so incredibly stupid and sexist). These "arguments" are beyond cliché, mind-numbing,...

 It's just an Easter Egg.Nothing more,nothing less.
It's just an Easter Egg.Nothing more,nothing less.
I know that after people have noticed that little Easter egg in La Reine des Neiges since it was released, many have developed the same theory. However,I do not agree with it and will give an explanation as to why. The theory with which I do not agree has to do with that brief moment in the film. Yes,by now, I think every major La Reine des Neiges fan knows about and has seen the quick cameos of Rapunzel (with her short, brown hair) and Eugene (or Flynn,if Raiponce fans still want to call him that) when Anna passes par them during "For the First Time in Forever." From seeing these two Disney Princesses together in the same...

My liste hasn't changed all that much but I thought after rewatching Aladin I would write an updated list.

13. Merida- Not a fan, I'm all for female empowerment but I don't like her attitude. She is just so rude & I do not find her likeable.

12. Elsa- She just really bugs me. I can't think of any other reasons but she just aggravates me.

11. Anna- Not keen on her either. She is not as bad as the other two but I'm not a fan, moving on.

10. Tiana- She is too much of a workaholic. I get that she has dreams to run her own restaurant but she can have fun once in awhile.

9. Jasmine- jasmin has really...

Thought this was really the perfect time for this light read considering which months I think each DP represents the best. :D I did this based on personality and my perception of how those personalities relate to the 4 seasons as well as each month. I hope toi guys enjoy! My apologies to non-Americans as this is heavily based on my American connotations with these months especially in regards to American holidays. Hope toi guys don't mind!

November: Tiana
Thanksgiving has always been my absolute favori #1 holiday! I l’amour it because it brings people together over a great meal, just like James'...

Here's my liste of Disney Princess couples, it's primarily based on what connected with me in their relationship and what i find admirable. I do have some ifs and buts with few couples but that's just my way of looking at how a relationship grow

1. Mulan and Shang:
Theirs a relation that I actually look up to with great admiration and respect. They both were mature to handle a relationship before falling for each other. Their l’amour grew out of mutual trust, understanding and respect rather than romantic feelings. It is to not say that romantic feelings are not true ou valuable, it's my personal...

Vincent van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
I l’amour art! I l’amour culture, history, musique and I l’amour art. I have done some posts and votes about the Disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the Disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the Disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each Disney Princess would l’amour the most. (I could probably find a van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

Because I am still in a musical mood but also ready for the "autumn/Halloween" mood, I'd like to incorporate the two! There aren't many DP villain songs global, ensemble but I came up with at least 9 that were good enough to use for the sake of this countdown. I rated each of the songs against how villainous the lyrics were, how villainous the musique sounds, how villainous the scene that accompanies the song in the film is and how villainous is the goal of the villain (or just the villain itself) chant the song? I ranked each song in the 4 categories and then ranked them global, ensemble par accumulative "evil"...

Okay so I tried to seek others' opinions for this who connect with Merida plus than I do. I realized that there are articles on here for the ranking of every princess except for Merida and I didn't think there should be any reason for her to be excluded. I always found these articles to be so neat though so I hope the Merida-fans will appreciate this. I'm completely open to any changes with plus input.

12. Aurora: General consensus seems to be that Merida would get along with Aurora the absolute least, most likely for their opposite in characters. Aurora rates duty, grace/manners, love/romance...

5. Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs

I noticed that sadness seems to be the most populaire emotion among people and it’s understandable, no matter how strong toi are, nothing hits toi harder than life. True toi should try your best to get out of a bad situation but in the process, it’s good to make the best out of it. It’s important to be grateful and remember how blessed toi are, a positive attitude goes a long way in order to enjoy your life.

4. Brave

What I really like with Rebelle is that it’s easy to relate to because disagreements and miscommunication...

1. The iconic song “Part of Your World,” was almost cut from The Little Mermaid.
2. “Can toi Feel the l’amour Tonight” was also almost cut from The Lion King. Elton John, who saw the film with the song removed, told producers they needed to put it back in.
3. Aladdin’s face was modeled after Tom Cruise’s.
4. And Ariel was partially modeled after Alyssa Milano.

Ah, feminism and Disney Princess. Such a complicated relationship. Now I'm not an expert, especially being a guy but the topic of feminism in relation to the DPs has always intrigued me. I'm gonna try my hand at ranking the princesses in terms of agency, independence, heroism and other aspects to figure out which one of them is the most feminist. I'm trying to expand my écriture skills so this is gonna be divisé, split into three parts, starting with the bottom four.

WARNING: No Anna and Elsa in this countdown, so let's begin.

11. Aurora
Sorry guys, but I'm one of those people who believes that feminism...

Yesterday I wrote an article about my favori song from each DP Movie, today I'm doing an article about my favori song scene from each DP Movie, the only requirement for this was that the song in the scene has to mainly be sung par a character from the movie (this rule doesn't apply to Brave), also the song scene can of course have two songs in the scene

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs - With A Smile And A Song
