So, I saw that there were a lot of "getting to know you" articles, so I decided to make one myself!

My name is Molly. I live in the Midwestern United States, which I am proud of. We Midwesterners are tough! We can get a huge thunderstorm ou lots of snow and be like, "No big deal. We get this all the time!"

I am in advanced classes at school and usually get straight A's. My favori classes are.... pretty much all of them, except P.E and art! (I l’amour art, but I don't really enjoy the activities in art class, and my fellow students act very immature in those classes.) I realize I sound like a stereotypical "nerd" type in that sentence (well, in some ways I am one!), but I actually enjoy a lot of those because I have Friends in them. My ABSOLUTE favorite, however is... wait for it... montrer CHOIR! *jazz hands*

As I a dit in the précédant paragraph, I l’amour montrer choir, and most performing arts at that. I am very involved in about every musical theater performance I can get my hands on; in fact, theater is my favori thing in life and I am OBSESSED with it! I am in an intensive musical theater group that performs a few songs from a musical (this an it's Into the Woods, last an it was Once on this Island.) I have also been in Pirates of Penzance at my school and Guys and poupées in my community theater. I have taken numerous acting, dance and voice classes. On the contrary, I hate sports! I'm pretty bad at most of them. I'm not a fast runner, and in PE I mostly have no idea what I am doing.

I am a Christian, my religion has donné me lots of peace when I have had worries in the past. I dream of getting married to a sweet and smart guy, having a stage ou science career, and traveling the world. I have a strange obsession with airplanes, and know a lot about different airlines and airports.

I have 3 little brothers, and 2 of them are adopted from Rwanda. I also have an older "sister" who my family took in recently because of her family issues. I have an old Black Lab dog named Ranger who is the sweetest dog ever!

My favori things are God, theater, travel, family/friends and food. My least favori things are discrimination, stupidity and off-key chant (as a singer it drives me nuts!!)

Thanks for reading, and commentaire if toi have any questions! :)
10. Megara - Hercules

She is drawn in a very specific, edgy style to fit in with her film's animation but still, Meg has beautiful purple eyes, pouty rose lips and gorgeous brunette curls. I find her quite beautiful although her body is the single most unrealistic which is forgivable since it's one of the cartoonier films.

9. Mulan

One of my all-time favourite Disney characters, she is never one to haut, retour au début the beauty lists. But I actually find her to be quite lovely. Simple but at the start of the film she has gorgeous hair. Of course the designers had to make it believable that she could...

Many people think Mulan (the movie) has the best citations of all princess movie, that and the fact it is Mulan mois gave me idea to start such countdown. In the beginning, there were about 70 citations I thought are important , I included about 40 in countdown and here are the best ten.

Out of these ten:
2 are from Shang
2 are from Fa Zhou
2 are from Emperor
and 4 are from Mulan

10. "Ping, toi are the craziest man I've ever met, and for that I owe toi my life. From now on, toi have my trust" by Shang

This is a dit after Mulan saved Shang and finally earned honor and respect for her deeds.However...

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the Disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the précédant two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the suivant Disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform that this article is completely my personal option. There is absolutely no need to have a hissy fit if my opinion doesn’t conform to yours. Feel free to commentaire what your own ranking is if toi wish. Anyways, let’s get on with this ranking.

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain toi a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in cabine #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to cabine #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

 Different faces, different personalities
Different faces, different personalities
We all l’amour Disney princesses, don’t we? So Seasons are also like them, they are really different from each other and each one of them at least has a good trait. I recently developed an interest of écriture articles on Disney princess symbolism. Thanks to the people who viewed my articles recently and loved them! Hope toi all enjoy!
Snow white – Spring
Yes! For me the princesses in spring category are kind, resourceful, pure, obedient, self-reserved, matured and somewhat innocent. I like the Spring people. Traits ou qualities tell she’s a spring person. She always likes to keep the room...

1. The outside of the palace is inspired par the Taj Mahal.

2. The word "Agra" is in the name Agrabah. Agra is a city in INDIA.

3. Rajah is a tiger. tigres are a symbol of INDIA.

4. Lotus fountains (like the one we see when we're first introduced to Jasmine) are an Indian thing.

5. "Abu" is an Indian name.

People complaining about Naomi being cast as jasmin because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If toi want a version of Aladin with jasmin being played par a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

A fair number of Disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature Disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade il y a just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

DVD Features

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to montrer how Cendrillon and the prince fell in l’amour with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus ou attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her rose dress. I have also read many commentaires debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. rose Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

 The good ol' baddies
The good ol' baddies
Well, it's time for another article here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another article again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about Disney villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the Disney villains plus than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old question posté from a an il y a that inspired me to write this. The question was about which Disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope toi guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this article ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in populaire culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...
