You'll notice that characters created around the same time as each other tend to share traits that are populaire at the time ou big with the artist/director/etc who works with them.

However, I'm not here to talk about personalities. Those have already been covered par many interesting authors who explore the topics far plus effectively than I could. What I want to talk about is common overarching themes I have noticed in each generation of princesses.

salut guys! For this article I'm going to go through all the DPs in order and say which of their hairstyles is my favorite. Anna and Elsa will be in this list, but unless toi think of the length of a braid as a spoiler there probably won't be spoilers. And this is all original movie, no sequels! With all that said, let's start with the list:

Snow White's Red Bow Hairstyle
Snow White only has two hairstyles, this one and the same hair with a blue bow, but I think the bright red color is a good contrast to her hair, and it brings out the red in her lips.

I must say, though, that I find it hilarious that each vote had about 40 participants and less than half of them commented. I'll be judging their actions based off not only the original films but in the sequels and TV series'. People say that Ariel never learned a lesson in The Little Mermaid and that she never really was sorry for what she did. I kind of agreed with this until I watched The Little Mermaid last night, and I realized that she does actually learn a lesson.

When people like to defend Ariel, they tend to point to this line:

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. So, here toi go, my favori moment from each Disney Princess film. Here are the ground rules.
1.The princess has to be in the scene. Obviously Aladin and Sleeping Beauty will have to suffer for that.
2.They can't be musical numbers. Otherwise this entire article would be nothing but songs.

The scene was so creepy, it creeps me out to this jour and I l’amour it. The dark and frightening imagery, it gives me chills. After surviving an attempt at murder, Snow White runs off in fear to the forest where she lets her imagination run wild....

Eugine and Rapunzel fall in l’amour at first sight, but this is obscured par the fake persona of Flynn. Rapunzel is only attracted to Eugine as he really is--not when he's trying to fake being something he's not. After an initial stumble, they both hold back for fear of rejection until sure the other reciprocates.

10. Tiana
Well, I'm not a huge fan of Tiana's clothes. Probably my favori outfit on her is her green dress in the forest wedding. The color is lovely and it has a pretty shape. What kills it for me is the EXTREME PUFFINESS of it. It's just so huge I would HATE to walk around in that. It does make her figure look very flattering though. Someone in the Disney merchandise department seems to have decided that Belle’s fleur is the rose – a decision I don’t really agree with. Yes, I know, the rose is featured very prominently in the movie. But it’s not really a symbol for Belle; it’s a symbol the need of the Beast to find true love. Which is, btw, the meaning of red roses: True Love. Seeing Belle as the rose, she would be symbolically under glass for the whole movie, and that doesn’t suit her character at all. In fact, shortly after the Beast puts the glass over his rose possessively, Belle flees from the castle....

7. Tiana and Belle

Not really surprising that this friendship was the first to leave as imo, these two princess have suivant to nothing in common. Tiana is very grounded and head strong whereas Belle is a bit of a dreamer and chases fairytales.
