I've already written an article about why I think the classic princesses are great role models, but now I wanted to write about their intelligence. The vote about who the most intelligent classic princess was inspired me to write this, and I've just been in a écriture mood in general. I won't be ranking them, just giving the reasons as to why I believe they're intelligent. So I hope toi all enjoy this article!! Let's get started!
Snow White
Snow White is often painted as the dumbest of the three, namely because of her eating of the apple. First off, being naive doesn't necessarily mean not intelligent. Also, Snow White does several intelligent things that go unnoticed with a lot of people. The fact that she goes through such a traumatic experience as almost getting killed, but then can pick herself up and think logically is crazy to me. Most people would be so torn up that they'd either give up ou be so Lost that they wouldn't know what to do, but Snow White has a game plan. She has to find shelter and she almost immediately goes looking for it. Also, Snow's intelligence is shown through her using her strengths to her advantage. She's quite manipulative through her using her charm, cooking, and cleaning to not only get a place to stay, but to get the dwarfs to listen to her. All in all, Snow's naivety (which is greatly exaggerated as is) shouldn't be confused with a lack of intelligence.
Cendrillon
Cinderella's part is tougher to write than Snow's and Aurora's since I've definitely seen their films a lot plus than I've seen Cinderella, but Cendrillon definitely displays her intelligence. First, people often ridicule Cendrillon for not leaving her household, but back then, leaving would mean being on the rue scraping for food. The fact that she stayed was just the most logical thing to do in that time period. Also, Cendrillon finds distractions to take her mind off her situation, such as sewing for the mice, talking to the animals, ou whatever else she does. As I already stated, I couldn't come up with as good of examples for Cendrillon simply because I haven't been as obsessed with her movie as I have for Snow White and Aurora, but intelligence still is shown in the little things Cendrillon does.
Aurora
I find Aurora to be one of the most intelligent princesses, along with Snow White. Her view of the world is a unique perspective, in that she vues the world very philosophically. I read this in Alantlm's article about Aurora that she wonders WHY things happen. In her song "I Wonder" she sings "I wonder WHY each little bird has a someone" montrer that she questions her surroundings and is quite observant. Also, the fact that she told Phillip to meet him at HER house not only took restraint, but intelligence too. Of course she would've loved to just dance off with him into the sunlight, but she realized that this wasn't wise so she got away from him immediately and told him to meet her at her house where she could be protected par her three strong aunts.
Overall, the classic princesses are definitely an intelligent bunch of women. Sorry if this article isn't the most well supported ou factual, I just kinda threw together aléatoire thoughts in my head that I hope somewhat made sense. I already know some of my arguments are kinda flimsy, so sorry about that..I should've done plus research. Thanks so much for lire anyway everyone and I hope toi all have a great rest of the week! If anyone has any suggestions for future articles I'd l’amour to hear it since I always l’amour écriture and I'm running low on ideas lately. :)
