So I wanted to rank my favori animation in the films, but I find it hard comparing hand-drawn and CGI since they're so different, so I just decided to make one for hand-drawn. I think all of the Disney films have amazing animation and each film has a unique animation that really makes the film special. So, let's get started!

9. Beauty and the Beast

WHAT?!?! Yes, Beauty and the Beast is last. It was really tough deciding between my ninth, eighth, and seventh place, but I ultimately went with BatB as last. Yes, some scenes are extremely beautiful (the ballroom scene), but the rest of the animation is just average, with some parts being inconsistent and sloppy. Belle has the most inconsistent face between all the princesses, and I just don't find the animation to special. I do l’amour the use of couleurs in the opening sequence, and the ballroom scene is one of Disney's best, but ultimately it's my last.

8. Aladin

My bottom three are all basically tied, and although I do feel that the good moments in Aladin match up to the good moments in BatB, I actually like that the movie has a unique style to it. It's a bit cartoony, but it sticks true to itself the entire movie and actually looks pretty beautiful the entire time. There's nothing too spectacular about it, but there aren't any eye-sores either, so Aladin stays at eighth.

7. The Little Mermaid

The animation in this movie doesn't wow me. They had so much potential to this movie, and while underwater looks nice, it doesn't make me go "wow." Underwater is pretty dark, although it is very detailed. The way her hair was animated underwater is definitely a milestone, and something that must've took a long time to master. When it comes on land, it's just less detailed and still doesn't have a wow factor. While the animation is still cartoony, it's less so than Aladdin, and "Part of Your World" really saves it from being last, due to the shadows on her face, the detail of the background, and the fluid animation of her swimming around.

6. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

This is where the liste starts getting tough. I really l’amour the animation here, and the fact that it was made 75 years il y a still boggles me, though I'm trying not to let age matter while making this list. I really l’amour the look to the animation. It's simplistic yet detailed, and it has the look to it that makes it actually look like what the name of the animation is "hand-drawn." The hand-drawn look to it makes the movie seem plus authentic, and toi can see the hard work put into it. Although, there are a lot of weird moments and inconsistencies, keeping it from entering the haut, retour au début 5.

5. Mulan

I really l’amour the animation in Mulan. Places five, four, and three on my liste are also basically tied. I l’amour the water-color backgrounds they did. It really makes the characters pop on screen. The scene with the avalanche is absolutely stunning, as well as the scene in the city after Mulan defeats Shan-Yu. I don't really see any faults to the movie's animation; it looks fluid, little to no inconsistencies, and just all around nice animation. (Sorry that I don't have too much to say, to be honest I don't spend too much time paying attention to animation in films so it's a bit hard for me to describe it.)

4. The Princess and the Frog

This movie is beautiful. The colors, the details, it's all just very nice. Like Mulan, I see no inconsistencies, nice backgrounds, and beautiful colors. The one fault I find with it, is that at points it can get a bit cartoony, mainly Louis and a couple of the towns-people at the ball. Also, it doesn't have a "wow" moment that leaves a big impression on me. I l’amour the bold choices they made in this movie though, like "Almost There" and "Friends on the Other Side." Both were unique styles that I hadn't seen before, and used really nice colors.

3. Cendrillon

Something about older animation just looks so beautiful to me. It's not flashy, it's not the most detailed, but it just looks so, nice. I don't know what exactly the charm is to Cinderella, but one thing has to be the Dress Transformation Scene, which if toi watch in slow-motion really is spectacular. The movie's animation is very calming, consistent, and has nice little things that really make me l’amour it. Another standout scene for me is "So This Is Love" because not only is it my all time favori Disney l’amour song, I also think the animation is beautiful. I l’amour how she touches the water and everything. Ugh, this movie is just so beautiful and I wish I could describe it better.

2. Pocahontas

Pocahontas is far and away the best animation of the Disney Princess Renaissance movies. The couleurs used are so unique and breath-taking that it really leaves a lasting impression. the animation is consistent, and there isn't one moment in the movie where I'm not wowed par the animation. I l’amour the animation used in "Colors of the Wind" and "Savages Part 2" since both use interesting couleurs and montrer interesting techniques. I really l’amour the animation of this movie, but it can't beat my number one.

1. Sleeping Beauty

SLEEPING BEAUTY! Could it be anything else? The animation is Disney's best. Some call it inconsistent, drab, and dark, but I just can't see it. Yes there's an inconsistency with hair color and eye color, but really if toi just look at the backgrounds, they're so beautiful. Especially in the forest scene, where the dancing is fluid, and it just has so much detail. The animation in this movie really has a "wow" factor for me which I don't think any other movie has matched. I l’amour the interesting animation they did at the beginning on the jour of Aurora's birth, and I just l’amour every single moment of the animation in this movie, and think that this movie has a level of detail that can never be matched.

So that's my list! Thanks for reading! I hope toi all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It's been such a great an with toi guys and I'm looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to several plus to come. :)

Hello! I'm giving a very short tutorial on how to make an icone square (since I often saw many un-square icons). toi don't need Photoshop ou GIMP ou heavy picture editors. Here I'm using link.

1. Click "Editor". Here you'll see a Photoshop-like layout.

2. Click "Open image from computer". Select your icone ou any picture toi want to make square.

3. Click on the "Crop" icone on the haut, retour au début left of the panel. Choose "output size" on the "Constraint" dropdown. Enter 200 x 200 ou whatever square size toi want.

4. Drag the souris over your picture. Hit Enter.

5. Don't forget to save your square picture!

"There's no one else in the castle for me to interact with... wait, what?"
The first time I saw Frozen, I felt as bad for Elsa and Anna as anyone. After all, their parents chose to keep Anna's erased memories of her sister's powers, separated them par moving Elsa out of Anna's room, reduced the staff and shut the gates so no one could learn about Elsa's powers, etc. The girls grew up in a dark, mostly empty castle. Elsa was kept isolated from everyone with only her parents to constantly coach her, and Anna was kept isolated without anyone at all.

Then their parents died, leaving them not knowing how to get on without them. Elsa was the heir but could not rule since...
