salut guys! So I’ve been here since the beginning of summer, and I figured it was time to make one of these since I’ve seen so many of my new Friends make them, too! I haven’t really opened up to anyone about who I am and what I like, so I thought this would be a good place to start! :)

My name is Brooke and I’m 18 years old. I live in southern Delaware with my parents, my two older sisters, and my younger brother. However, I’m going to be moving to college in a couple days, so that’s going to change soon!

I originally came to fanpop when I was researching Disney history for a fun project I had in high school. The first article I looked at was on here, and when I looked at the commentaires section of the article I was so impressed with how well everyone was interacting -sharing and swapping ideas about different subjects related to a club- that I just had to become a part of the discussion :) Ever since then, I’ve been a regular fanpopper, though I haven’t been as active as I want to be due to my hectic school and work schedule.

My “favorite” Disney princess has changed from an to year. Some years, I liked Snow White the best, others Jasmine, and so on. But out of all the princesses, Ariel has remained my favori for the longest time. When I was little, “The Little Mermaid” was my favori Disney movie and I have always been enamored par Ariel’s beautiful chant voice. I remember when I was five I went through a phase where I wanted everything I own to have Ariel on it, and for the longest time, most of my clothes and toys were Little-Mermaid-themed. I think Ariel is uniquely beautiful- being the first Disney princess to have red hair and the only mermaid princess- and I l’amour her personality. Like me, she’s very curious about the world around her and is a dreamer. Her stubbornness can get her into trouble sometimes (as mine does, too from time to time) and despite her naivety, she has really deep thoughts and emotions. I l’amour that she’s plus than just a pretty face.

I really don’t have a “least favorite” Disney princess. I think that each princess has unique admirable qualities. However, the princess that I’m the least crazy about is Merida. I feel like Merida doesn’t have the traditional princess qualities that most of the classic princesses have (gentleness, grace, compassion, etc.) and for that reason, I don’t think she fits in well in the Disney Princess lineup. Don’t get me wrong, I l’amour that Disney designed her to look and act plus like a typical teenage girl as compared to the other princesses, but I’m just not as fond of her as other people are.

As far as Princes go, my favori is probably Aladdin. Yes, I know, he's the underdog who isn’t really a prince, but I have a reason to like him as much as I do. Aladin is one of the only princes who fell in l’amour with his princess for plus than her looks. When he tells Genie about her, he describes par her character traits along with her looks, and I admire the fact that he saw her inner beauty and not just her outer beauty. He’s down-to-earth, caring, and global, ensemble a nice guy. Not to mention, he’s quite attractive and has a nice bod so in my eyes, he’s the complete package of what a guy should be. The only flaw he has is that he’s not always honest with people –he lied to jasmin for almost the entire movie- and I personally do not have much tolerance for dishonesty.

My least favori prince is, par far, Naveen. I will admit, he IS cute, but his looks are only skin-deep. He’s selfish, vain, conceited, and full of himself. There’s nothing that can deter me plus than if a guy acts like he’s glacière than he actually is. Yes, he DOES gain a little bit of humility toward the end of “The Princess and the Frog” but even so, it isn’t enough for my liking.

My hobbies: When I’m not fanpopping, I like to play the guitare and the piano (I’ve been a budding musician for most of my life), composer my own music, cook/bake, play tennis (my favori sport), go shopping, and hang out with my Friends :)

My favori books: I haven’t read any leisure livres lately because I haven’t had much time for it, but some of my favori livres I’ve read in the past are The Great Gatsby and Pride & Prejudice. I probably sound boring but I don’t care- I’m a sucker for the classics!

My favori movies: Out of all the Disney movies, my ultimate favori is The Lion King. In my opinion, that’s the best Disney movie ever made. It’s so deep, the animation is incredible, and the musique in it is absolutely PHENOMINAL. For princess movies, my favori is obviously The Little Mermaid, since Ariel is my favori princess. As far as “non-Disney” movies, my favori movie is She’s the Man. I know Amanda Bynes has gone down a broken path lately, but I think she’s HILARIOUS in that movie! I also like “10 things I Hate About You” and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” In short, I like any and all chick flicks :)

So that pretty much all toi should know about me! I hope I didn’t make this too long ou anger any of toi with my blunt opinions. Regardless, of what toi may have thought of this article, I want to thank toi all for taking the time to read my post- I can’t wait to get to know even plus of toi and make plus new Friends on fanpop! :) 
My favori Disney Princess. The one and only Ariel! :)

So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus ou attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her rose dress. I have also read many commentaires debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. rose Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

Please note that this is a countdown where we users make a lot of assumptions and don't provide proof of anything. This is for the amusement so please don't kill the fun :)

11. Prince
The Prince from Snow White comes in last place, can't say I'm stunned. At that time, Disney animators haven't mastered drawing male characters yet so I'm guessing what's underneath isn't HD quality either. He's also quite feminine looking, petite frame with soft edges. No worries though, Snow White loves his man for his huuuuuuuge cœur, coeur :)

10. Charming
Nope, still not quite there with drawing men. Charming...

We all know the step-sister from Cendrillon that ends up reforming in the sequels. However, many people seem to have criticisms about her because they feel that she shouldn't have been forgiven par Cinderella, there was nothing to montrer that she deserved to be redeemed, and that it's ridiculous that she got to be redeemed but Drizella didn't. First of all, I think I need to explain where this idea of Anastasia reforming came from. In the original Charles Perrault version of Cinderella, Cinderella's real name was actually Ella. When she became a servant she would sleep par the fireplace to keep...

One of my favori songs of all time.
One of my favorite songs of all time.
Disney's La Reine des Neiges is receiving rave reviews, and the song"Let It Go"is one of the highlights of the film.Don't take my word for it-Wikipedia,as usual is great for such simple backround facts.I have decided that Elsa is my favori Disney character, but I'm having internal débats whether"Let It Go"is my favori Disney song-time will tell, but I'm leaning towards"yes".On my Google chercher history, there are queries such as "Let It Go is brilliant" and "Frozen Let It Go analysis",but having found nothing satisfactory,I've decided to write this post instead.
There has been much written about Let It...

Awhile ago, linkabout which Houses the Princesses would be in, and several of toi requested that I do one about the princes as well. I’m pleased to announce that this is it!

But before I begin my analyses, it’s time for some disclaimers…

1. About the Houses. Here’s how I tend to think of the Houses of Hogwarts. (Note: I will be saying the most about Slytherin, since Slytherin is most often distorted.)

Gryffindor: values bravery, daring, bold decision-making, rule-breaking, following one’s dreams, standing up for one’s friends, and being global, ensemble “fun”/pleasant/courageous.

Slytherin...

I've never done this before. And as a new user, I'm pretty sure that I'm dipping into a kind of no-man's land, here.

I primarily judge Disney princesses not par their looks ou anything, but par their character, and par their plot-lines. Some of the Disney princesses are less developed than others, in my opinion, and that might be partially due to the story/plot-line itself ( as most of Disney is adaptation-based).

Some of the characteristics of each princess I find admirable, while other traits I just find...for lack of a better term...irritating. Yeah.

I'm going to rate the Disney princesses...

This is a serious article. Eyebrows frame your face so toi need to have the right pair. I spend way too much time plucking and grooming my eyebrows so yeah, I think eyebrows are very aesthetically important. I noticed the results look a bit like my non-existent prettiest Princess liste with a few exceptions of course.

13. Mulan
They are Asian looking alright, with the shape. I promise I don't have anything against big eyebrows but Mulan's kind of overpower her eyes and they look a bit untamed. They are definitely not bad, just comparing to the others. Shang has nice strong arched eyebrows though....

One of the best things about Disney princess films are their princesses(obviously) and songs. As a singer, musique lover, and actor, I've always paid close attention to the voices that bring these wonderful characters and songs to life. I am picky about the voices I like but can admit that no princess has a bad voice, some are just much better than others. Share your opinions.
13. Snow White
Let me begin par saying that I'm ranking both chant and speaking voices and that even though she's at the bottom, I don't hate Snow White's voice. Let's be honest here, most people find her voice to be annoying....
