PART 7
Pocahontas took a deep breath, thinking of how she would tell John it was over. Since she had just recently seen John Smith and found her l’amour again, she knew the only way to be happy was to leave John.
When she was back in her village, she saw that John wasn’t there. When she asked where he was, she learned he was par the river. She made her way to the river and saw that he was alone.
“Good,” she thought. “At least I can do this in private.”
She walked up to John and grabbed his hand. He turned around. He grabbed her other hand and held onto them tightly, which only made it harder for Pocahontas. She knew she was about to break his heart, but it wasn’t fair to stay with him when she loved another.
“John,” She started. “I must speak with you.”
“Okay,” He smiled. ‘What is it?”
Pocahontas took a deep breath before she began. She was hesitant to speak, but she knew it had to be done. She told him she had seen John Smith a few days il y a and decided to look for him. She told him they had found each other and kissed. She told him she loved him and always will.
“John,” She whispered. “I am so sorry, but he is the path I choose and I know now that he is the right path. I will always—”
Pocahontas was interrupted when a hand came across her face and knocked her to the ground. She stared up at John Rolfe who had a look of anger on his face. Pocahontas had never seen him so angry. She never knew he could get so angry. He got down on his knees suivant to Pocahontas and grabbed onto her face so they were staring right at each other.
“Listen to me,” He a dit each word with anger. “You cannot just leave me. I won’t allow it. I don’t care if toi l’amour him. I’m going to find him and I’m going to kill him.”
Pocahontas gasped as John left her side and began to walk away. Pocahontas quickly rose and ran to him.
“No!” She cried. “You can’t do this.”
John grabbed her tightly and pushed her down again. This time, he pushed her so hard, that she fell unconscious. There was a darkness in John Rolfe that no one knew of. He kept it hidden because for once he was happy in his life, and had no reason to be angry. Pocahontas’s words somehow released all his anger. He wouldn’t stand to lose her, even if that meant killing a man. He went after John Smith and all the while, Pocahontas remained unconscious.

Many people think Mulan (the movie) has the best citations of all princess movie, that and the fact it is Mulan mois gave me idea to start such countdown. In the beginning, there were about 70 citations I thought are important , I included about 40 in countdown and here are the best ten.

Out of these ten:
2 are from Shang
2 are from Fa Zhou
2 are from Emperor
and 4 are from Mulan

10. "Ping, toi are the craziest man I've ever met, and for that I owe toi my life. From now on, toi have my trust" by Shang

This is a dit after Mulan saved Shang and finally earned honor and respect for her deeds.However...

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the Disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the précédant two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the suivant Disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform that this article is completely my personal option. There is absolutely no need to have a hissy fit if my opinion doesn’t conform to yours. Feel free to commentaire what your own ranking is if toi wish. Anyways, let’s get on with this ranking.

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain toi a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in cabine #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to cabine #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

We all l’amour Disney princesses, don’t we? So Seasons are also like them, they are really different from each other and each one of them at least has a good trait. 1. The outside of the palace is inspired par the Taj Mahal.

3. Rajah is a tiger. tigres are a symbol of INDIA.

4. Lotus fountains (like the one we see when we're first introduced to Jasmine) are an Indian thing.

5. "Abu" is an Indian name.

People complaining about Naomi being cast as jasmin because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If toi want a version of Aladin with jasmin being played par a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

A fair number of Disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature Disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade il y a just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

DVD Features

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to montrer how Cendrillon and the prince fell in l’amour with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

 The good ol' baddies
The good ol' baddies
Well, it's time for another article here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another article again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about Disney villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the Disney villains plus than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old question posté from a an il y a that inspired me to write this. The question was about which Disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope toi guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this article ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in populaire culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

This was reposted due to an unwanted and frankly annoying troll spamming my last article

Over the years, I've noticed that people really HATE Aurora in Keys To The Kingdom from Disney Princess Il était une fois Tales: Follow Your Dreams. I've honestly never understood the hate she received, mainly because no one ever freaking EXPLAINS it! I've always asked and they just say "SHE SUCKS," ou "SHE'S A GIRLY STEREOTYPE," ou "SHE HAS A POP VOICE," and all that but they don't EXPLAIN! The reason this version of Aurora is so hated is even less explained than the plot holes in Frozen. First of all, Enchanted...
