I usually try to make crossovers based on their personality. Unless of course they're just plain eye candy. :)

Whenever I make couple crossovers, I just pick couples that I think go well together. Race/ethnicity have nothing to do with it. Even if I don't use characters like Esme or Mulan very often, it's nothing to do with their background - I just get better ideas for other characters. But I do use a range of characters all the time x
