"Scamp, now that all this is over, can toi tell me what toi were going to say when I told toi I l’amour you?" asked Angel.

    "Yes I can, I l’amour toi too." a dit Scamp as he licked her.

    I looked at the kids with their families and I just felt sadness inside me. I have grown to l’amour those kids so much that it hurts me to actually let them go. I know I can visit them but it’ll hurt me to see them as chiens because the ones I’ve grown to l’amour were humans. I’ll never be able to see those faces again, except in my memories. I knew I couldn’t stay so I left their collars without even a goodbye. The kids don’t need me anymore, they belong with their families and I think I should probably do the same. It’s time I stop running away from the problem that is my family. The kids have made me see that family is the one toi can always come back to. So I packed up my stuff and went to see my family.

    I took a deep breath as I knocked at my parent’s door. They answered it, I told them who I was and my mom cried a little as she hugged me and my dad even joined in the hug. We talked about our issues and worked them out. They actually told me they cried when I ran away and looked everywhere for me. My siblings even apologize for always bullying me and my dad apologized for being so hard on me. A week had past and I have spent time with my family and I told them my story. Our entire family even came over just to see me. When I saw all my younger cousins I felt bad because all I could think about were the kids. I tried to hide how sad I was but I guess my mom must’ve saw through my mask and knew how sad I was. She asked me to come into a room with her because she wanted to talk to me.

    “Honey I know there’s something wrong” a dit mom.

    “What makes toi think something’s wrong?” I asked

    “I’m your mother, I know everything. I know it’s about those kids toi told us about” a dit mom. ”If toi really l’amour those kids than why don’t toi go back to them?” she asked.

    “I can’t, it’s too painful to see them as puppies” I said.

    “But they’re still the same kids toi knew before” a dit mom.

    “I know but the fact that they’re not going to be living with me makes me sad. I l’amour those kids so much” I said.

    “Have toi ever thought about asking them what they want?” asked mom.

    “After all the trouble they’ve gone through I’m pretty sure they still want to be with their families” I said.

    “You don’t know that. I’m not saying they’ll come back to live with toi as humans but toi can work something out. Maybe toi should ask them what they’d like to be, just because they want to be humans don’t mean they can’t still be with their families. Just like how if they want to stay chiots doesn’t mean toi can’t still be in their lives” a dit mom.

    “But what if they won’t even talk to me because I left without even saying goodbye?” I asked.

    “Well toi left without saying goodbye to us and we seem to have overlooked that” a dit mom.

    “But what about all of you, I can’t just leave. I’ve been gone for years and I’ve only been here for a week. I need to stay here with my family where I belong” I said.

    My mom came over and hugged me “You don’t need to stay here. You’ll still have us and you’ll always have us. But it isn’t enough, is it? toi don’t belong here, where toi belong is back there. Knowing that you’re alive and that you’ve become the man I always hoped toi would be brings me joy I never thought I could feel. toi need to go back but toi should know that even if we’re apart we’ll always be together as long as we keep each other in our hearts and of course visit” a dit mom as she let go.

    “But mom even if they do want to be human what makes toi think their parents would let them?” I asked.

    “You’d be surprised what a parent will do to make their child happy, even if it hurts them. Whatever toi decide dear just know your family will always be with toi no matter what” a dit mom.

    I sighed and a dit “Well I guess your right mom. I’ll give it a try, I’ll leave tomorrow”.

    The suivant morning came, I a dit goodbye to my family, and went back home. I was so scared; it was like meeting my family for the first time in years all over again. But I have to stop running away from my problems, I’ll never get anywhere if I just keep running away when things get rough. When I finally arrived I found the kids at Rodger and Anita’s house playing but they stopped when they saw me. “Um… salut kids” I a dit awkwardly.

    “Hey” a dit Angel awkwardly.

    “What’s been up lately?” I asked.

    “Well my sisters aren’t so obsessed with looks, have developed a real personality, and are nicer to me and Angel” a dit Scamp.

    “And Lucky is being nicer to me and we’ve actually become friends” a dit Patch.

    “Well that’s great to hear. I’m guessing toi kids are wondering why I left without even saying goodbye” I said.

    “Yes that did kind of did traverser, croix our minds” a dit Angel with wit.

    “I can explain. As toi know I’ve never gotten close to anyone before until the three of toi came into my life, I loved the three of toi so much that I just couldn’t stand the thought of seeing toi guys and not having toi stay with me anymore. So I finally went back to my family because toi inspired me to do that. My family helped me realize something important, that I didn’t give toi a real choice; I just assumed toi wanted to turn back into dogs. I was just scared and didn’t think toi would actually leave your own family for just someone you’ve known for a few months” I explained.

    “You’re plus than just someone we’ve known for a few months, you’re the one who inspired us. toi helped us see how smart, brave, strong, and incroyable we can be” a dit Patch.

    “Yeah I use to think I was really stupid but because of toi I know how clever I am. Besides the truth is the reason we wanted to stay humans wasn’t just because we were afraid of our parents, it was the main reason but not the only one. We wanted to stay human. When we were human for once we actually felt like we belonged” a dit Scamp.

    “Are toi guys sure toi want to become human?” I asked.

    “We really do but we can’t. We can’t just leave our families after all the trouble we’ve caused” a dit Patch.

    “Yes toi can” a dit Pongo.

    “Dad?” surprised Patch.

    Then suddenly Perdita, Tramp, and Lady came out. “Kids, we’ve been talking and we can’t help but think that toi should be human and stay with Chris” a dit Tramp.

    “Dad please don’t do this. We’ve already caused so much trouble and we belong here with toi as chiens and…” started Scamp.

    “You won’t have to, we’ll all become human” a dit Lady.

    “No toi won’t, we couldn’t let toi do that” a dit Angel.

    “But we want toi to be happy and toi belong as humans” a dit Perdita.

    “Maybe we do but toi don’t. You’re happy as chiens and this is where toi belong” a dit Patch.

    “We couldn’t live with ourselves to ruin your lives. We’ve been selfish and have already caused so much trouble for everyone” a dit Angel.

    “But kids toi want so badly to be human we’d do anything to let toi be happy” a dit Lady.

    “But that’s just it mom, we want to be human because that’s what would make us happy not you, that’s the difference. I wish there was a way we could all be together and that me, Angel, and Patch could be human but there’s not” a dit Scamp.

    “Actually I have an idea but we’ll have to talk to Jim, Darling, Anita, and Roger” I said. So I went and got them with Nanny holding junior following them. I used my magic to give them the ability to talk to animaux so that we could all discuss this. “Okay here’s what I’m thinking. I’ll turn Scamp, Angel, and Patch into humans and toi guys adopt them so that they can still be with their parents” I suggested.

    “That’s a wonderful idea!” cried out Roger.

    “Oh Roger it’ll be wonderful to have a child around the house and par the way…” started Anita.

    “It’ll be absolutely grand” interrupted Nanny.

    “I l’amour the idea” a dit Darling. “What do toi think Jim Dear?” she asked.

    “Well we’d have to find room in our house to put two kids, especially since we only have one share room, but I guess I’m alright with it” a dit Jim.

    “Scamp brother!” cried out Junior.

    “Wait! I want to live with toi Chris” a dit Angel.

    “Really; why?” I asked.

    “Because you’re our family too; I wish we could all live together” a dit Angel.

    “Well we actually could because I just thought of another idea” I a dit as I snapped my fingers. With that snap I transported my house and Jim and Darlings house right suivant to the Dalmatian plantation so we can all be together.

    “What are toi insane?” shouted Jim.

    “Oh but Jim I think it’s wonderful. There’s lots of l’espace and a big open field for the kids to play in. We have plenty of room to set up a playground for Junior. I’d l’amour to always wake up in the morning to that beautiful view of the lake. Plus I always wanted to live this close to Anita but since she had so many chiens we couldn’t live next-door to each other. Besides this way we can all be a great big happy family. It’s not that far from where we lived before and we can still go and visit our Friends in just a five minute trip. toi can still go to your job and it’s not that far away. Plus Jock and Trusty would l’amour to visit here, especially ole Trusty” a dit Darling with delight.

    Jim was speechless, he sighed and a dit “Those 100 Dalmatians better not bark in the middle of the night.”

    “So what do toi say kids, do toi like this idea?” I asked

    The kids were so overwhelmed that all their hopes and dreams are finally coming true. They took a moment to themselves and when they got themselves put back together they a dit “We do”. So I used my magic to turn them back into humans and this time for good. They had their clothes on this time and I used my magic to turn their collars into cœur, coeur shaped collier pendants as a way to honor their parents. The kids went and gave their parents a big hug, thanked them, and told them they l’amour them. But I used my magic to let the kids still have the ability to talk to animals. When they were done with their parents I had something I had to say to them. “Scamp do toi remember when I told toi that everyone has a guardian like Cendrillon did with her fairy god-mother?” I asked

    “Yes, why?” answered Scamp.

    “Because I just found mine, the three of toi and I couldn’t ask to be the guardian for anyone better” I said. The four of us joined into a group hug.

    “Chris we never got a chance to thank toi for helping our kids and saving their lives so thank you” a dit Lady.

    “You’re welcome and I want toi to know I’ll take good care of Angel” I said.

    “You better” a dit Tramp.

    “So kids toi want to go for a ride on the carpet?” I asked.

    Scamp and Patch looked at their parents and they nodded. “But first can we go inside your house for a minute? There’s something we’ve still got to take care of” a dit Scamp.

    “What’s that?” I asked.

    “To look at that magic mirror, the one that shows toi your true form” a dit Scamp.

    So they went inside my house to take a look in the mirror. They were almost too afraid to look into the mirror because of what they might see. However when they looked into the mirror what they saw was just their regular selves as humans. They were so happy that finally they do belong and they’ve finally know who they are. We went on my carpet to celebrate our new happiness with an adventure. As we flew par their families the kids waved goodbye.

    “Oh wouldn’t it be just wonderful to have children around the house, human ones” hinted Nanny.

    “Yeah that would be great and I hope one jour we’ll be lucky enough to have our own children” a dit Roger.

    “Well then Roger I have the most wonderful news” a dit Anita.
