Why did Dimitri have to become strigoi?

because as someone a dit life isn't fair. and also richelle needed a problem like all livres have a dilemma in them, something goes wrong and thats what the story focuses on. livres arnt meant to be someones perfect life and so this seemed like the most suitable thing to do in her mind. as other a dit i do believe that he will come back, she cant be mean enough to put use through him actually dying!! but who knows it might be like one of those livres with out the perfect happy ending everyone expected. but with the idea of spirit uses being able to turn them back to moroi ou dhampir makes me think that that will happen to him. it not going to be like lissa walks up to him and boom, it will be hard i think and might only happen at the end when nearly all hope is gone but i think iyt will happen. hope i helped :)

Because it isn't possible for Dimitri and Rose to be together, without the story being dumb and totally boring.

It would have made the story too predictable if that didn't happen.

Richelle Mead did it because without Dimitri turning Strigoi, she wouldn't have had a story to continue. Vampire Academy would have to end at 3.

Well I honestly think that Dimitri was turned Strigoi because every romance story has some obstacle that the main characters try to overcome. If toi paid close attention to Blood Promise, Victor's half brother, Robert, contains valuable information on how to convert Strigoi back into former dvamphir (idk if i spelled it right) ou back into a Moroi, which in this case, back into a dvamphir! XD

Ooooh gosh I REALLY cried when I found out ThaT dimi3 died. but also ive gotta question. Can any of u guys TeLL me whaT happens in 4th and 5th book.? Cuz i cannot know. u know, in our boring country dnt have these livres yet. and everything i found out 'bout Dimi3 [<3<3] is on internet. huh. so... pLease.?? Thanxx advance.!!

okay so just today i finished lire shadow Kiss and i cried i couldnt help it i just did it was so depressing i was hoping he was just caputured ou something but then i read exerpts and relized what i hoped would happen didnt i cant get the suivant book till christmas my bibliothèque doesnt have it and its killing me i hated the fact that she could just walk away from lissa like that too if that was my friend i wld have died no matter if my l’amour nvr wanted to be strigoi who wld what to anyways i want to know if something good happens though i read the commentaires and saw that spirit users can change strigoi back plz lissa do it i will be so upset if she doesnt... ugh one month!!!
