I wasn't tired anymore. My nausea seemed to have faded a little and I was left staring at a wall. Half of the time I was so bored I actually wished that they would just kill me already. I knew my death was coming and I didn't see the point in prolonging it anymore. Why couldn't they just get it over with already? Then it occurred to me - I could just pop into Lissa's head, since mine was ridiculously boring at the moment. At least that would help me pass some time.

They were back at the hotel. Adrian was pacing, Dimitri was deep in thought and Christian was watching them all just waiting for someone to come up with some brilliant plan to get me back and Lissa, well she was trying to stay calm.
"So they definitely want me?" Dimitri questioned as he kept his guardian mask in check. Typical.
Adrian turned to him, no longer pacing. I could see the tears that were on his cheeks "Yes, YOUR the reason they took her."
For a seconde I saw a flash of grief in Dimitri's eyes, but in a seconde it was gone.
"YOUR the only reason she left the court in the first place. Everything's because of you." Adrian shouted.
Dimitri nodded in agreement "I know. It's all my fault. I was stupid. I lied to her thinking it would protect her but it's only harmed her more."
"Wait! are toi saying that toi still l’amour Rose?" Adrian pried, his face had gone pale - well paler that a Moroi would usually be.
Lissa and Christian were suddenly sitting up waiting for Dimitri's answer, so was I. I wanted to know so badly if he still contained any feelings for me.

"Of course I do. A l’amour like we shared can't simply fade away." He smiled like he was reliving all the moments we had shared together. Every Kiss - every touch - every word. I knew what he was thinking because I was thinking the same thing. Then my mind drifted to the time we had spent together in Russia - where he had held me captive and did horrible things to me. Looking into his eyes now, i could see he was thinking that as well.
"But that doesn't matter. I can't be with her again, not after the horrid things i did to her..."

No one spoke. Adrian returned to his pacing - Dimitri went back to his thoughts and Lissa and Christian well they just stared at each other for a while. It was a little gross so i decided to go back to my own body.

Opening my eyes i saw Lucia standing in front of me. To my surprise she had a plate filled with food, a drink and a change of clean clothes.

She saw that I was awake and started speaking to the two Strigoi that had been guarding me "Ah, William, Markus - come and untie her."
They exchanged some unsure glances
"But...what if she attacks us?" one questioned nervously, the other finished the sentence "Belikov always a dit she was dangerous."
She hissed at them "Well Belikov is gone now and i'm in charge. I a dit untie her...NOW" They hesitated for a seconde then after receiving another ice-cold glare both of them jumped to my side and started to untie the ropes. I had never seen Strigoi afraid of anything, it was amusing.

Once the ropes were off I stretched my arms out in front of me - it seemed to make the Strigoi guards even plus uncomfortable and I had to hold back a laugh. Lucia smiled at me, it was almost a nice smile - if toi could get past the fact that she was an evil, undead vampire who could kill me whenever she felt the urge.

"I brought toi some food, drink and clothes and later i'll have a lit put in here so toi can sleep... Well eat up" she a dit as she placed the nourriture down in front of me. She didn't leave the room though - she went and stood near the mur directly across from me.

I was extremely confused par all of this. Why was she giving me food? I was supposed to be a hostage - bait...whatever i was why was she feeding me? Strigoi always had an ulterior motive. Maybe the nourriture was poisoned.

"why are toi feeding me?" I questioned before i could register what was coming out of my mouth. The question seemed to make her smile.
"Well if we want to lure Dimitri here we kind of need toi alive. Plus, i kind of like you..." The last part shocked me a little. What the hell did she mean. Why would she like me.

I was a guardian! My main goal in life was to kill Strigoi and i had killed a LOT of them. Lucia was the weirdest Strigoi I had ever met...and she was staring at me. Awkwardly I picked up the tray of nourriture which was on the floor and examined its contents. There was a bottle of water, a few slices of pizza and some brownies. My favori food. The situation just seemed to keep getting weirder and weirder. Maybe Dimitri had told her what my favori nourriture was when he was a Strigoi, but surely they would have better things to talk about...Right?

Everytime I looked up she would still be staring at me with a small smile on her face. What was wrong with this chick? She was suppose to be evil...
Finally I couldn't take it anymore "Ok why are toi staring at me?" I questioned, well i actually screamed which startled the Strigoi that were standing at the door.
"I just find toi facinating. I can see why Belikov was so obsessed with toi now." she replied
"Ok. What's so facinating about me?" I pried curiously. What could a Strigoi find facinating about me.
The smile on her face grew "You remind me of the daughter I had when I was a Moroi. She acted a lot like you...She was a dhampir aswell."
