premiere after post-surgery video goes viral
The Merc with a Mouth has some sympathy for the dental surgery patient with a sore mouth.
star Ryan Reynolds re-tweeted a viral video of a fan named James D. Eversole Jr., who had just had his wisdom teeth removed. Still suffering (or maybe enjoying) the effects of laughing gas (presumably), his wife, behind the camera, tells him they’re waiting for his prescriptions and will go home to eat ice cream when he suddenly thinks he has missed the opening of the as yet untitled
sequel, in theaters June 1. Impressed by what he deemed their “#MaximumEffort,” Reynolds extended Ebersole the invite of a lifetime — for him and a guest to attend the movie’s premiere in May.
“Years ago, I had my wisdom-testicles removed. I know how painful it can be. Consider this your official invite to the Untitled Deadpool Sequel, James. I’ll see you and a guest in May,” the star wrote.

Check out Ebersole’s video, above, where bemoans missing the sequel (he’s watched the first one “about 5 billion times,” his wife tells him) — and where he tells his wife what else he wants to do, which is surely why he and and his favorite foul-mouthed superhero would get along so well.
