Daredevil - Season 2 - Rumor - Jason Statham Eyed For Bullseye *Update: Statham Is out*
Just yesterday, we reported that Marvel, Disney and Netflix were courting Jason Statham for the role of Bullseye in Daredevil. Now, it\'s being said that he has walked away from negotiations. And we can all thank the Internet. Apparently it was this early leak of talks between the actor and the studios that caused him to drop out before he had a chance to sign on.
Many are pointing the finger at Latino Review for letting the cat out of the bag. It\'s highly suspected that their exclusive report has ended up causing a fan favorite actor to walk away from a very popular Netflix series, and fans are clearly disappointed this morning. Apparently, the actor was heavy into negotiations for the role. It\'s speculated that, perhaps, Jason Statham\'s agent saw all the positive buzz and upped his asking fee, which killed the deal. Or, on the flip side of that, the studio may have seen the positive reaction, and terminated the deal fearing they would have to dole out more money. However it happened, money clearly seems to be a factor, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.
However it happened, its being confirmed that Jason Statham is completely out of the running for Marvel\'s Daredevil Season 2, and another actor will be sought out. The good news remains, Bullseye will be in these new episodes. He\'s not the only villain, though. We\'ll also see Mr. Fear, Spider-Man regular Mysterio, and, as we\'ve heard in the recent past, Elektra, who eventually becomes a love interest for Matt Murdock.
According to a trusted source at Marvel\'s new TV production offices, Jason Statham - star of The Transporter film franchise, this year\'s Furious 7, and this summer\'s action comedy Spy - is being pursued to play Bullseye in season 2 of Marvel\'s Daredevil Netflix series. It is not yet confirmed as reps would not give me a call back.
Our spies spotted him meeting with Marvel personnel earlier this week while taking a break from the press tour for Spy. Aside from Bullseye, other villainous characters who are said to appear in Daredevil\'s highly-anticipated second season include Mr Fear, Mysterio (one of Spider-Man\'s iconic rogues), and Elektra - Daredevil\'s eventual love interest.
Also quick note that Marvel\'s Daredevil seaon 2 is set to start shooting at the end of June early July not in the Fall.

Every day 100\'s of items are submitted to us and we don\'t always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage.
So a result we\'ve come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen.
There will be a new Newsreel each day, and as news is added we will update the post and and push it back to the top of the site so that you can see that new items have been added. A tweet of the item will also be sent to our @SpoilerTV account.
This will allow us to provide more news on more shows in a much more timely fashion
Rather that creating lots of new posts as new info is released and fragmenting the commentary, we thought it would be a good idea for the upcoming major movies to create a single post for each major movies that will collate all the info as it\'s posted.
New items will be added to the top of the list as well as the post being re-posted back to the top of the homepage when a new item is added. We will additionally send out a fresh tweet alerting you of the new information.
This will allow you to bookmark this page so that you can return to it whenever you like. It will also help consolidate all the discussion on this movie in a central place and make it less likely that you\'ll miss some key information.
