Okay! So i know I'm far from the only person that is tired of the constant complaining about "We need to change this, we need to change that blah blah blah!" I KNOW a lot of us are really annoyed at all the icon changing... So here's how we solve it!

I've handled the changing of spot looks on numerous spots so I hope nobody minds me taking charge in order to get things organized!

So here's what you need to do: Choose the option you want!

I'll put a closing date on this pick for like 2 weeks from now & when the pick closes, whichever choice has the majority of the votes - THAT IS HOW WE WILL HANDLE CHANGING THINGS FROM NOW ON!

Whichever option wins, we will still have picks to decide our banner/icon/motto. That aspect won't change! The only real change is that we will have an ORGANIZED way of handling things and we will STICK TO A SYSTEM!

*I made the closing date 10 days from now. This way whatever we decide on, it can start at the beginning of March && people will have enough time to make banners/icons before the 1st.

Why i think we should do monthly changes - This is how a lot of spots do it. It works well, everyone has a fair amount of time to make their banner(s) && even if a "big moment" does occur not long after the banner has been changed, you know that it won't be more than a month before the banner is changed so that moment {or moments hopefully!} will soon be included!

It really is, in MY opinion, a bit ridiculous to talk about changing the banner like every freaking week. Not only is it rude and disrespectful to just disregard the hard work that all banner makers put in to their banners just to have it tossed aside in a matter of days, it's also inconvenient. I've seen people complain about banner options not being "good enough", but what do you expect when people work really hard to make a good banner & then a week later you're expecting them to rush to churn out new banners just to add on ONE or TWO new scenes.

I'm not trying to be bitchy, but it's irritating to see that the majority of people complaining are NOT the people responsible for MAKING banners & icons.

we can't change every time we have a big moment. Practically we'll change every week then!

There will always be the option to keep the current banner!

A big moment would be good, it's just a problem if two big moments occur with in lets say 2 weeks. Monthly just seems as if it's the best. :)

I think changing it every month is a bit too much.
And changing it everytime a big moment happens would be messy, what happens if there are two or more moments in one or two weeks.

Also, I think ONE thread for all the changes isn't enough. I think we'd have to open a new one every time we decide to change. And it wouldn't be a bad idea for me to decide on a theme for each change.
For example, keep this one and then in 3 months (or whatever time is chosen, I'm using the one I picked) we all decide on a theme (MMF, "Rose", Elena's birthday, etc.) and people subit banners and icons that are ONLY from that specific moment.

Also, I suggest to re-do this pick, except this time we do a thread in which everyone gives their detailed idea of how the changes should happen and then do the pick (example: [user name's idea] and in the comments the idea explained).
It seems more fair to me because in this pick you included your ideas only, which are good, but I think all fans should have every idea written for them to choose.
