At the very beginning of season 1, like the first few episodes, when we saw Stelena start to become a couple, did toi ship them ou think they were cute at first?

I got into Vampire Diaries because I clicked on a Christina Perri song (A Thousand Years) and it was a Damon/Elena musique video. So I was already skewed toward those two when I entered into the fandom. But I was determined to give Stefan and Elena a chance and yes, I thought they were sort of cute, but I also noticed how their relationship went from 0 to 60 in like two episodes. To me, their relationship wasn't developed. Damon and Elena, however, have built up a deep and meaningful relationship, from Friends to lovers. If Delena ever, God forbid, broke up, I believe they can still be friends. I have difficulty believing that Stefan and Elena can truly be friends. I just don't think they know how to be, seperate from anything to do with Damon. To me, a solid relationship means you're not only amoureux but friends. I don't think Stefan and Elena were ever friends.

I never liked them. Stelena is boring, I l’amour intense relationships like Delena :)

Eeeh... I mean, they were the "leading couple" at that time, so I found them kinda cute I guess. But never shipped (truly truly shipped) them.

I never shipped them, but they had some cute scenes & sweet moments, I liked them, until in 1x19 I completly & ulitimately rooted for DE.
I will always ship the friendship-to-love couple, and no matter how cute SE scenes are, they are just fast-forworded for me - the world doesn't work this way & it's not how l’amour is born. Period.

I thought they were sort of cute, but really unrealistic and juvenile. I could never actually ship them because I couldn't stand the way they just kind of fell into a relationship when there was no real substance to build on. I could never understand what was supposed to be so epic about their l’amour story because there wasn't really a story there at all. It's like they went from being strangers to being madly in l’amour the first jour they met and it just seemed boring and a little silly.

I liked Stefan, and Stelena was okay. But I soon found that Stefan was not who he appeared to be, and I liked him less with Elena. I like Stefan alone, but not with Elena.

My cousin got me into this show. It had already aired the first 14 episodes so I watched them all at once. My cousin was begging me to watch the montrer because she was obsessed with Stelena and with Stefan. So she came over brought the episodes and we watched them together. The minute I saw Damon on screen I was like Daymmm! Haha! Instantly I loved him because he was not only hot but totally badass and I'm a sucker for bad boys. I could not for the life of me however get into the Stelena cheesefest. I couldn't stand their romance at all. Way too corny, clique and no buildup. Plus I never saw chemistry between them. The only thing that kept me engaged in the montrer was Damon's character. I was quite bored in the scenes without him during those first few eps. But then par episode 10/11 when Damon saved Elena from the car accident and took her to Georgia and they partied, got drunk and laughed together I realized I was completely in l’amour with them both and I was rooting for them to get together. A huge Delena fan was born :) But the best moment was when Damon said, "I didn't compel toi because we were having fun and I wanted it to be real." par then I was overly obsessed with them and TVD had officially become my favori show. I put up with the Stelena nonsense because I was certain eventually Delena would get their chance. Three years later and still they haven't gotten their chance :( Oh why I put up with this emotional torture, I'll never know. But if the writers are as clever as they make themselves out to be then all this DE buildup will give us everything we ever wanted and more. But if Delena aren't endgame I will lose faith in modern télévision and romantic story telling. Lol!

I guess I could say never. Mainly because I think damon and elena attraction to each other is stronger and u can't deny the chemistry between them. Although , there was a time at the beginning of the season 1 that I thought to myself that I shoudl ship Stefan with elena because i strongly believe, at that time, they're the main couple.. But when I continuously watch the season, my vision change and damon and elena story touched me plus than any stelena scenes.... Delena's story line is like a journey.. Elena hating damon , they became friends, she was attracted to him... I mean all the possibility in l’amour is there, something stelena definitely doesn't have.

LOOK HERE'S WHAT I THINK ,THE montrer JUST WANTED TO INTRODUCE BOTH RELATONSHIPS AND MAKE US PICK A SIDE. THEN THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE BOTH STELENA AND DELENA fans HAPPY IN THE END. WHO KNOWS WHO THEY WANT TO BE HAPPY. par THE WAY IM A DELENA FAN!!!!!!!!!!

I never shipped Stelena. With every couple, I like there to be some kind of challenge, and with them, there was nothing. I could tell I was SUPPOSED to like them together, but I just didn't feel it. When people started calling them 'epic' and 'soul mates' that really bugged me. HOW is their romance any of those things? They went from strangers to being madly in l’amour in a couple of episodes. Stefan hid a lot of things from Elena. And she just went after him to prove a point to her friends. When Elena tells Jenna that she and Stefan broke up, I didn't even know they had been dating.

I wouldn't exactly say i shipped them but i guess i did? In the beginning they seemed to be the 'ideal' couple but then all the lies came, the false pre-tenses and what not. I was only getting into TVD at the time and they were also the couple at the time. I did think they were a tinsy bit cute, and i kind of refused to watch anything delena... Because while i was on the verge of shipping them everyone was saying how awful Delena was.. I decided one jour to actually watch TVD and i found myself growing very fond of delena. I really LOVED Damon and didn't know why i thought he was just a 'dick' even though he can be, but i didn't really know much about TVD to not like Damon.. But as i started to actually watch it.. I found that my favourite character ended up being him. I didn't come to appreciate Elena until S4 to be honest because even though i understood her character.. some of the things she did, i was plus angry at her than i was at Damon.. for obvious reasons.

I think i began to like them in the third episode. He noticed that she wasn't all that into cheer-leading any plus which was true. Elena wasn't the same person and is not interested in the same things any more. She's a different person who has Lost two parental figures in her life and has had to learn to cope with the reality of it all. And she is obviously depressed. But as i watched that scene i realised.. that Elena tries to hide from reality, while Damon is Mr. reality check. Although i didn't officially start to ship until 1x11.. When Damon rescued her from the car. As of now i can't stand the idea of stelena and i just.. they bore me. And Stefan is a pain in the ass.

I never shipped Stelena i did find them cute in the first episode but the minute i saw Damon i found out i liked him plus than i liked Stefan ou Stelena and in the third episode when Damon caresses Elena's cheek while she's sleeping, that was the moment i officially became a Delena fan! :)

I started to watch TVD 100% objective, without any knowledge of the ships. Someone recommended me several years ago, without telling much. I knew that the story would be about vampires, a l’amour triangle (two rivalling brothers falling in l’amour with the same girl) and the flashbacks sounded interesting. Someone (she doesn't watch the show) teased me about the Salvatore brothers, and I assured her that I didn't have any plan to ship someone.....yet (haha how naive!!!). Started episode 1, saw Elena meeting Stefan and had a Twilight deja vu (even though I kinda like Twilight). They happened very fast and although they had some "cute" moments, I was already bored with them after a few episodes. No chemistry, awkward moments and yes...cheesy. I thought (silly me) that they would be the couple and Damon just an obstacle, but couldn't wait till the triangle would start. Especially when Damon came into the show. Delena had so much plus together in their scenes, and when Damon watched her sleeping I thought "finally, the triangle is starting!!!". When Damon rescued her in 1x11 I melted and loved his concern. But then episode 1x19 came with THE dance that made me ship Delena officially. I was never a big Stefan fan (just thought he was a "nice guy") but started to dislike him plus and more. My Delena feelings increased over the seasons. Damon's l’amour confession in 2x08, their Kiss in 3x10 and 3x19, their first meeting in 3x22, Damon's reaction when Elena died, all their moments in season 4, their DEX for the first time and Elena's l’amour declaration etc. Stelena only annoys me now (he is the obstacle now), but Delena's journey will continue with their suivant step as couple. Up to season 5!!!!

I was initially skewed anti-Delena, but I never really shipped Stelena. I started watching the montrer from the beginning of season 2, so naturally the first episode I ever saw was the Jeremy Neck Snapping Incident. Go Delena XD

But when I started watching back, season one, the rest of season two and the beginning of season three, I realized that Damon isn't a character toi can judge based on one incident, one episode ou even one season. And I also realized that Delena is special in ways that people who don't ship them just don't understand yet.

I've started watching the montrer after S1, so I can't really have an unbiased opinion over their relationship in the first few episodes (because I knew what would happen afterwards) and I didn't like them. They were cute, of course, but were rushed and Stefan was lying to Elena about what he is.
