Oh! A little Respect!

“Bamonators” is the name declared to signify the group of Bamon fans, fans of the possible pairing of Bonnie and Damon of “The Vampire Diaries.”

“DEers” is the name declared to signify the group of Delena fans, fans of the possible pairing of Damon and Elena, also of this populaire series we all love.

But really they're just ships, just names! par any other name would smell as sweet! ou maybe as bitter...Because we've made wars out of these ships. We've made horrendous, offensive, hurtful, wars out of these sweet and beautiful pairings, and for what?! Cause we don't see eye to eye? So what!!

You're favori color could be blue, and mine red, but you'll never convince me blue is better! And I'll never convince toi red is better! But I can admit that blue is a cool color as well...or AT LEAST respect your opinion! toi may say “Twilight” is better, and I say “Harry Potter” rules! But we're never gonna agree on the subject! And it definitely won't better with arguing! We've got to respect our differences!

It really is such a frivolous thing when toi think about it! Delena ou Bamon! Stelena ou Delena! Forwood ou Catt!! Shipping wars PERIOD really are childish and frivolous! And they don't stem from passion for a pairing! They DON'T stem from the l’amour of ones ship!! Believe it ou not, shipping wars rage out of control because of a lack of respect! When it all boils down to it, our issue is RESPECT.

Someone calls Delena immoral and wrong. Someone calls Bamonators sick and delusional. And people are DISRESPECTED!! A line is crossed, and people's feelings and emotions are taken for granted, and it all goes down colline from there!! We take offense and we snap! We aim to hurt like we've been hurt, and it only feeds to the vicious cycle started long before we even heard of “TVD!”

It's vicious and it's hateful, and it's GOT to stop!! But it's up to us. It's up to us to do it. No one else can. It's up to us. And it starts with respect.

We've got to stop creating these hateful picks for one another! In fact, just stop creating picks about one another! The Bamon spot should look like the BAMON spot! And the Delena spot should like like DELENA! We've got to stop the picks, the articles, the mur posts! We've just got to stop!!!

Stop thinking of the other as monsters, as inhumane MONSTER!! Stop seeing them as the evil enemy! And if toi can't stop that, then remember what Benjamin Franklin said! “The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.” The best toi can give your enemy is forgiveness, and to your opponent, tolerance.

It's a humane thing. We've got to tolerate. We've got to respect.

We've got to forgive! Stop holding all of the Bamonators accountable for ONE Bamon fan's actions! Stop holding the Delena fans accountable for a couple of Delena fan's wrong-doings! Forgive and forget!! We've got to! Not only for the other, but for ourselves!! We've ALL got to forgive! Forgive and RESPECT!

We're not so different!! We're all just passionate people who l’amour “The Vampire Diaries!” We just so happen to be passionate about different pairings! We may never understand ou never agree, but we CAN respect!! We CAN!! And from there, the sky's the limit! “When men and women are able to respect and accept their differences, then l’amour has a chance to blossom.” - John Gray.

So if toi feel the NEED to commentaire on Nian, do it in a respectful way. If toi want to say something about Katerina Graham, do so in a respectful way! ou don't speak at all!! Try not to mention Delena on the Bamon spot, and vice versa for Bamon on the Delena spot! Just agree to disagree and respect one another! We're really ALL just human beings, and we just want to be respected! If toi have nothing nice to say about the other pairing, don't say anything! It's not worth it! And you're not speaking for the right reasons anyhow! You're speaking out of hatred, and it's got to stop!

Stop commenting under every single pick! It's not called for and it's not worth it! People aren't going to change their minds on the way they feel, so it's a waste of time! It does nothing but bad! So we've really just got to stop!

Be slow to speak and QUICK to LISTEN!! If it's going to anger you, don't indulge in it!! Don't go looking for anger! We've got to stop visiting each other's spots, LOOKING for things to get angry about!! WHY ELSE ARE WE THERE?! We've got to ask ourselves.

Just respect. Please respect. I would be the happiest person in the WORLD if this were to happen. And I know I'm not alone in this. Everyone's fanpop experience would be so much plus enjoyable if they weren't worrying about what the other was saying. STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT THE OTHER IS SAYING!!! Enjoy your spot!! Stay on your spot!! For now. There will come a time when things won't be so tense between us, when we will TRULY be able to respect one another and dwell together peacefully.

But until then! Please try your best to respect one another! No plus fighting please!! We want peace SO badly and it really CAN happen!! But we need EVERYBODY'S help!! If a Bamonator says something toi find offensive, please don't handle it yourself. NOTHING gets done that way. Please tell ME ou one of your other Bamonator friends! And if a Delena fan says something toi find offensive, also please tell me (or any Delena friend toi may have) and I'll relay it to one of my Delena friends! We've got to stop these pointless arguments, and these hateful words and comments!

I can just imagine how Nina, Ian, and Kat shake their heads upon us all. We're not doing ANY of them proud. We're not doing “The Vampire Diaries” proud!! We're shaming them when we do this! Think of that suivant time you're tempted to say something hateful and disrespectful. Kat would be so disappointed if she knew we were bashing Nian. And Nian would detest us bashing their friend Kat.

They don't want us arguing over them. They don't want our fights. They want our support! But not like this. So let's give them what they want. Support in a peaceful manner. toi can do it! I know toi can. We're SO much stronger than we think we are! But we've got to do it TOGETHER!! Correct your Friends when they step out of line, and when any new-comers start to bantering about the DEers/Bamonators, tell them, “No! We don't do that on this spot! We get along!!” l’amour and RESPECT one another! It's the only way we'll have peace.
