plus of a plain, badly written and flat character but not exactly a Mary Sue, at least not NEARLY as much of a Mary Sue as some heroines from other YA novels that have a) super powers from the get go b) are hot regardless of being 14 ou 20 and literally every single male character wants a romantic/sexual relationship with them c) are rude to every person they meet and yet still everyone believes they are awesome. Bella isn't really any of it, that's why I find her plus bearable. She at least has some humanity and some relatable qualities and character traits despite how sloppy the écriture of Twilight is in general (imo).

She is an awful excuse of a character, and most certainly a mary sue in most areas, but Ill vote for your answer because toi mentioned that twilight was written poorly enough to be garbage. When the world comes to an end people will be feeding stephanie meyers livres into the feu first.
