Classic rock songs, please

Here are some songs that'll bound to get your friend to like classic rock.

"Money For Nothing", par Dire Straits. It has an awesome intro guitare riff.
"La Grange", par ZZ Top. Again, the kickass intro riff.
"Highway Star", par Deep Purple. One of the best song verses ever.
"Eruption", par van Halen. A little extreme, but it's one of the fastest guitare solo's out there.
"Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", par Jimi Hendrix. Check it out for the intro guitare solo.

For montrer a newbie some classic rock, here's some great songs to start off with.

From there, toi can listen to some deeper songs, like Bohemian Rhapsody, Dream ON, salut Jude ou Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Then some plus classics. toi can decide. Whatever your favourite songs are then some artists toi might not have listened to yet. Both of toi might be bigger classic rock fans!

montrer her David Bowie since she's into indie and punk. David Bowie was indieish before it was cool and at one point he tried being punk. I reccomend the album scary monsters (and super creeps!) (1980) for your friend. Since that's the album where he tried to be kinda punk rock. And if she really likes indie have her listen to l’espace oddity (1969). Hopefully she'll get into classic rock through his music, I know I did and I feel like a lot of people did too. ;)
