The heure started off pleasantly enough, with Rick gifting newly named Captain Beckett with a bit of confection, inside of which was a bracelet engraved with, of course, “Always.”
The bigger mystery, however, involved the long-running series itself. Namely, does it look and feel much different now, with Rick and Kate apart/estranged/separated? And if it does, it that an insurmountable thing?
An episode minus Beckett but plus Ethan Slaughter, the rough-around-the-edges detective who apparently got demoted from the Gang Task Force due to suspect behavior.
