Evan entered his house. He had tried to stay at the office as long as possible. He dreaded the moments he had to go home. There was nothing here that could keep his mind off Erin. What had happened in those years they’d been apart? She must’ve gotten involved with the wrong kind of people. Of course he’d read the articles about the new Bonnie and Clyde couple. Castiel Novak and Meg Masters. But Evan had always had a little spark of hope that this Meg Masters just looked like his Erin and that it was all a big coincidence. However, after Novak and Masters died the killings suddenly stopped. But then how did Erin end up at the side of the road? How was she alive? If she and Masters were the same person how could she be alive? And if she was alive, did that mean Novak was alive, too?
Evan made a decision and conjured his phone. It rang four times before it was answered.
“Roger Burke”
“Roger, this is Evan Trumble. I’m not sure toi remember me?” Evan started.
“Of course I remember you, Evan. I will never forget what you’ve done for me” Roger replied. A couple of years il y a Evan had been Roger’s attorney in a fraud case.
“Good. Because I need toi to do me a favor” Evan said.

Since there was no way any of them was going to get any sleep, they packed their bags and loaded the Impala. Dean placed himself behind the wheel, Sam sat suivant to him and Meg on the backseat.
“First stop: Pontiac, Illinois” Dean said, as he started the engines and drove ahead. As they drove Dean turned on the radio to break the silence.
Meg stared out of the window. She felt utterly powerless. Had she still been a demon she would’ve just zapped herself to him. But then maybe she wouldn’t have felt this way and she wouldn’t even bother to go find him.
Maybe this was a sign. Maybe she was supposed to let go and go back to her old life.
No!, she reproached herself. You’re not going back to killing for fun. toi didn’t get this far to throw it all away. You’re going to find Cas and get him back.
“Everything okay, there?” Dean asked.
“Yeah, I’m good” Meg replied with a mischievous smile.
