That episode gets me every time. And i'm not overly emotional either.

I'm a very emotional person so these all make me cry like a little baby.
Since the question is about which episode is saddest and not which event... I've got to go with "The Body" cause the WHOLE episode was so heart breaking (unlike many of the others which were just heart breaking at the end). But I think Buffy's death was the saddest event for me b/c I cried for days after that episode aired (and I even knew the show was renewed for season 6 so she must come back to life... yet I still cried for days haha).

It's The Body without a doubt for me. I've never watched it with anyone else before because I'd be too embarrassed - I cry pretty much non-stop for the whole episode.

It reminds me of my Mum. RIP.
