Jillywinkles What is this about a reboot? Do you have any links? I haven't heard anything...well I heard about the directors of the original movie doing something, but that doesn't have anything to do with Joss Whedon. Anyway, I agree, Megan Fox would be awful. If they do make any more buffy, they can't replace any of the actors, it wouldn't be believable and it just wouldn't work. I'm all for more Buffy of any kind, but if they do make more, what they would need to do is have it centralize around something else (like they did with Angel, or like the Ripper series that was once talked about). So they could have a series that focused on Willow, or Faith--even more minor characters like Oz, Riley, characters from Angel, Drusilla, Principal Wood...the list goes on. There are so many rich characters that could have more development of stories. You couldn't call it "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" anymore of course, but there could be lots more in the Buffyverse with characters like Buffy making only occasional appearances or even not at all.

Mermaid-Tail You mention wondering who will play the scoobies and how you'll like to see characters who passed away like Anya but none of those characters are going to be in the reboot. They are doing the movie without Joss Whedon's permission so they are not legally aloud to use any of the show's characters. The only familiar Buffy character in it will be Buffy. No scoobies, no Spike, no Angel or Anya. Only Buffy. It isn't what I consider 'official Buffy' because it's done without the say so of the creator and without the involvement of any of the show's team. I just consider it a fanfic with actors :( The fact that they are doing this without the creator's permission, and that I'm familiar with the work of the people doing it and they make terrible movies, is why I definetly wont be watching. I'm firmly boycotting and so are many of my Buffy-fan friends.

0oSquirto0 They can't make a buffy movie. They just can't. I mean look at the first attempted Buffy movie, FAILURE. It just wouldn't be thesame without Joss Whedon's witty writing or without the awesome actors who I have know to be who they are. I am joining the boycott....

Styfalie I actually like the Original Buffy movie. :) It makes me smile. Also, I think the prospects of a new movie is kind of neat. I will miss the Scoobies as much as the next person but we gotta role with the times. wateringcan blah, thats my interpretation....anyway i dont see the point, it wont be buffy, it will be some stupid reboot trying to exploit money out of a show with already a huge fan base, even though everyone i know who is a fan would refuse to see the movie.

SpikesGirl they should totally have a series centered around Spike, I'd like to know whats so special about Angel. but yeah, no Megan Fox.
