BTS cancel their 2nd anniversary fanmeeting due to MERS outbreak

BTS have announced the cancellation of their upcoming fanmeet.

BTS 2ND MUSTER [ZIP CODE : 17520]\' was scheduled for June 13th, their 2nd anniversary date, but Big Hit Entertainment has revealed that the event has been canceled due to the MERS outbreak in Korea.

The announcement was posted on the boys\' official fancafe, and read,

We regret that the BTS 2ND MUSTER [ZIP CODE : 17520] on June, 13th will be canceled because of MERS(Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) situation.

After careful consideration, BigHit Entertainment has made this decision for your safety first.

For a while, it will be hard to consider replanning for A.R.M.Y 2

term Fan Meeting, but we are doing our best with schedule arrangement and the venue situation.

Customers who purchased their tickets and bus fare* (*bus transportation arranged by BigHit Ent.) will be refunded. For details of how to obtain refunds, we will notify you ASAP.

\'MUSTER\' was planned to be a big event, with the boys\' even having a 2-week period full of events named \'2015 BTS FESTA\' ramping up to the fanmeet, so many fans are sure to be disappointed by the unfortunate news.

I know that it stinked for so many fans but it really had to be done due to what\'s going on with the recent MERS outbreak with over a dozen infected and half a dozen dead at this moment.  Of course health and safety are the number one priorities for a situation like this and I know that the group\'s agency had to take that into consideration when they had to cancel the event due to the outbreak.  So for that, one, hopefully the MERS outbreak will be under control soon enough and two, due to situations like this, the fun can wait

There could be alternative dates and other ways to reschedule the fanmeeting but things are not that easy to fix if the virus spreads around.

Listen bruh. Kpop isn\'t about the 10-20 groups you hear on social media. Haven\'t you watched music shows? There\'s literally hundreds of groups and singers you don\'t know about which are unpopular in Korea, unpopular internationally etc. From a small company, BTS still managed to top charts and gain international recognition. So they really do mean something, although your pea-sized brain cannot fathom it because of your mental capacity, they are pretty successful for a group with a small company amongst hundreds of other groups from other small companies.
