Ok so heres the deal if you dont come on in a long time the chances are i will delete you from the list so people dont get cofused.

Nah,he destroyed it more like when he didn`t DARE to make THE ultimate twist in S5 and chose BL for the endgame instead. It`d even make sense with all these amazing friendship build up they had earlier that season.
Generally,he LOST it in Season 5.

He could have let the BL build up develop and he could have shown old feelings resurface. Instead we had rebound girl Lindsey coming,just as if we didn`t know to what THAT would lead.
