Chapter 2

Booth was going over some basic training technics with his squad. He had been assigned a special team of army rangers to help locate and destroy Al Queda cells. When he had first met his team he realized that plus than half of the men were in their early 20s and he felt like an old man but as he had much plus strength and stamina he soon had them running to keep up with him. A number of the team soon learned that he was a former FBI agent and as usual with Booth he and his team became friends. Booth read the letter and looked at Bones. He wanted to put his arms around her and to tell her to ignore the letter but he wasn’t sure why she was crying.
Bones: “Does that letter mean what I think it means.”
Booth: “Bones it seems so wrong that why now after all this time.”
Bones: “It has only been four months and toi read the letter.”
Booth looked at the letter again and saw the written words

Dr. Temperance Brennan
Mr. Seeley Booth

This notification was delayed due to the récent cutbacks in staffing in the State of Maryland and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused....

The Director felt the tension in the room but chose to ignore it as Senator Benson said. “I just wanted to thank the two of toi for rescuing my son and new daughter-in-law. They could have come to plus harm had toi not found them. It is admirable that the FBI has such dedicated agents “

Bones and Booth were just finishing dîner at Booth’s apartment.
Bones: “I did not realize that I had not eaten all day.”
Booth: “It was a good thing we picked up an extra portion of fried rice.”
Bones was sitting back relaxed, thinking about this marriage and Booth not wanting a divorce meanwhile glancing at the ring Booth had put on her finger. Why did Booth give me this ring if he doesn’t want to be married to me? We need to find a solution to this problem ou is it really a problem. She was Lost in this train of thought when Booth started to clear away the mess on the coffee table....

Brennan was getting ready for the annual New Year’s Eve party at the Jeffersonian. She had had a long jour examining the remains of the latest case she was working with Booth and she decided to take a relaxing bath before she gets dressed. Andrew, Booth’s boss, a dit he was going to see her at the party. She had hoped that Booth was coming but he did not say anything about it. As she lowered herself into the warm bubble bath, she told herself she could excuse herself early if Booth does not montrer ou maybe she should not go altogether. They all climbed back up the stairs and as they entered the main body of the church again, they could see that the pastor was standing in front of the altar. They approached him to say good bye when Eddie walked up to her husband and mentioned to him. “Agent Booth and Dr. Brennan have been partners for five years. They also plan on being partners for as long as they are able. Isn’t that wonderful, Norman.”

Norman answered. “That’s a true commitment to celebrate.”
He then turned to Booth and asked. “So I understand that toi Agent Booth desire Dr. Brennan to be your one and only partner.”...

Chapter 2

As soon as they arrived in Chicago, Angela and Brennan drove their rental car over to visit Mr. Schneider. They were greeted at the door par a rotund older man who was grinning from ear to ear upon seeing Brennan.

“Oh I am so happy to see that toi came to the reunion, we have so much to catch up on Temperance. “

Chapter 1

Brennan was looking through her pile of mail and noticed the envelope from her old high school. She knew what it was without opening it. It was another class reunion. As she never bothered to attend the last two reunions she knew of no reason to attend this one. Of course it has been fifteen years, but since she never really made any Friends in high school other than the teachers she saw no reason to go. As she was getting ready to toss the envelope into the trash, Angela walked into the room.

Saturday morning Brennan had packed a small overnight case. As she put the case into her car she was wondering if she had forgotten anything, but as she was thinking her phone rang.
“Brennan” she answered the phone. Immediately she recognized Booth’s voice. “Booth I am just getting ready to leave. Are toi still coming later this evening?”

Booth answered “Bones I will be leaving as soon as I finish the paperwork on this case. I should get into Philly around midnight so don’t wait up for me. We will have breakfast tomorrow morning and we can talk.”

It started out as a normal day; Brennan was sitting in her office looking over her schedule. There were several items that she needed to attend to immediately and others that could be postponed until suivant week. As she was looking over her findings about the récent case she was working on with Booth, she knew she had some additional work to do on the final rapporter but she wanted to wait until she sees Booth later this evening.
