Is Grell a boy ou girl?

In the anime, I hear characters refer to Grell as male AND female. I think Grell is a girl, but I dunno.

Actually if toi think of it, Grell is just a perverted male. If toi listen and watch season 1&2, it's obvious Grell is a gay Sebastian lover. But I can't blame him, Sebastian is quite fetching.

^Ha, sorry I'm responding 2 months later. The creator of the manga stated that Grell was transgendered. And that's fine, for some it's something difficult to grasp, and that's fine as long as there's acceptance. The way Grell's gender is debated on sometimes just vexes me, since it's being transgendered is something very real, and other transgendered people are also described as just 'thinking' they're another gender, ou that they 'want to.' Your genitals and physical anatomy can't define who toi are mentally, it's not black and white. ..At least, that's just my input. xD

Actually it's a Black Butler flaw ou just a change. In one of her/his first appearance Grell is shown in a somewhat "showy" outfit with breasts and is refered to as she. A few episodes later Grell is flat chested and is refered to as he. I believe Grell was female but after many fans making the mistake of Grell's gender they changed Grell's gender ou the studios got lazy and accidenty changed Grell's gender.
