Caitlin spun around on her heel and let out a surprised shriek at the sight of Draco Malfoy standing there behind her with his two lackeys Crabble and Goyle. She gained her ground once plus and glared coldly at Draco. “What do toi want Malfoy”, she asked coldly. He chuckled and smirked evilly at her. His eyes shined coldly with a lot of feu and coldness in them. He didn’t answer her verbally but signaled to Crabble and Goyle to push her over with their fists. They caught her off guard with their fists and they knocked her into the ground. Her head fell back into the snow her body was then kicked par Crabble and Goyle. She groaned in pain as her wand fell out of her manteau and onto the soft snow. She tried to get up but her arm was trapped beneath her and it hurt. What had she done to deserve this cruelty? That was the question that was filling her mind up at the moment. She stood up but was pushed down again par Crabble. Draco snatched up her wand and started playing with it. “You're a pathetic looser Black. A filthy little blood traitor and a disgrace to the wizarding world. toi don’t deserve to be at Hogwarts ou in the wizarding world. toi should have taken up my offer to be Friends when toi had the chance. Potter and toi both had a chance and toi blew it and now it‘s to late to do anything about it. It’s such a shame that the Basilisk hasn’t killed you, mudblood Granger ou any of your other muggle loving friends.” He cackled and kicked her pained form further into the snow and put a bunch of horrible spells and curses on her with his wand. Hermione and her uncle rushed over to her while Harry and Ron dealt with Malfoy. Harry knocked Malfoy’s wand out of his hand so that Caitlin wouldn’t have to feel the pain. Her ribs had been kicked hard par Malfoy. Her arm was lying at an odd angle in the rue looking as if it was broken. Malfoy had also done so damage to her arm with the multitude of spells and curses that he had done. She was still alive but blood was coming out of her side. The blood soaked through her chemise and her cloak. Some fell to the ground making the snow a bright red. Her uncle used his wand and healed the wounds caused par Malfoy on her side. Hermione stood up and socked Malfoy right in the face with her fist. She was angry. Malfoy dropped Caitlin’s wand with a look of pain and fear in his usual cold eyes. She watched as Malfoy and his lackeys ran off in the other direction. She then turned her attention back to her friend. She picked up Caitlin’s wand and knelt down suivant to her friend. Harry and Ron were right behind her.
Caitlin looked at Hermione and Sirius with her pain filled eyes. She hadn’t had the courage inside of her to fight back against Malfoy’s words like she usually had. Most of Malfoy’s words had echoed what she had thought about herself. Her walls were broken down inside of her and she was a shell of her usual courageous self. “I’m sorry that I’m not good enough to be in this world. I never have been perfect. I am just as useless and pathetic as Malfoy a dit I was”. Tears fell down her eyes freely. “Caitlin that isn’t true. Malfoy is an idiot he doesn’t know toi like we do. toi are such a courageous and useful person. toi are sweet and kind. toi have the willingness to help anyone and Malfoy doesn’t. In everyone’s eyes toi are the better person and toi shouldn’t let Malfoy get to you. toi are perfect to us”, Hermione and Sirius a dit together. She nods unsure of whether it was true ou not. She still didn’t think she was perfect. She had so many flaws in her personality but she decided to just accept what was donné to her like she usually did. Even though that wasn’t the right thing to do she still did it. She gritted her teeth in pain her eyes closed tight in pain.
Sirius picked her up trying not to cause her anymore pain than what she was already in. He apparated the group to Hogsmeade using his new wand that Caitlin had bought him. All eyes were on them as they walked the streets leading back to Hogwarts. They walked onto the grounds as the snow kept falling around them. Caitlin was trying not to cry out in pain. She was gripping Sirius’s arm with her good hand. He then walked them to the Hogwarts infirmary. They watched the disapproving eyes of Madame Pomfrey sweep over Sirius and Caitlin then to Harry, She told Sirius to place Caitlin on one of the beds. Sirius walked over to an unclaimed lit and laid his niece on to the bed.
She gripped his arm her eyes begging him not to go. “Please don’t leave me”, she begged. Her eyes were begging her uncle to not leave her in her heure of need. Sirius knew that he had to even though he didn’t want to. As he was about to gently pull his arm out of her grip Dumbledore came into the room. His eyes searched over the room before calmly asking what had happened. Sirius explained what had happened to Caitlin. “I will have a word with Mr. Malfoy. He will not get away with what he has done. Sirius toi may stay with your niece and I will allow Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, and Ms. Granger to stay as well”. “Headmaster I must insist that Ms. Black get her rest and treatment under my care. I can’t have her being not fully well after she is out of my care”. Dumbledore was going to let them stay. toi could tell par the affirm look in his usually kind blue eyes. “I have my reasons Poppy. Now I must be on my way to talk with Mr. Malfoy and his parents”. And with those final words of approval Dumbledore swept out of the room gracefully. Hermione laid Caitlin’s wand on the tableside suivant to the bed. Caitlin tightened her grip on her uncle’s arm as she was checked over par Madame Pomfrey.
