I used to think Bellatrix and Lucius would make a good couple since they were both Death Eaters, but as I read the later books I came to see that she doesn't respect him at all.

Bellatrix is pure evil while Lucius is not. It wouldn't work. Plus he's married to her sister, so that might be awkward.

she's too in love with voldemort, and lucius and bellatrix are too opposite. Lucius plans out his attack and is calm, bellatrix attacks spontaniously and is short-tempered.

I think Cissy and Lucius love eachother verymuch. Besides Lucius is excuse me but a Coward. He joined the Death Eaters to protect his family. I believe Bella is truely loyal to the Dark Lord she belongs to him.

Cissy wouldn't enjoy that. If Draco weren't in danger, she'd beat the snot outta Lucius or Bellatrix- depends on who she cares most for.

Bellatrix has no respect for any of the Death Eaters. She would always try to control him... There's no love in that. Besides, Bellatrix belongs to Voldemort.

Of all Bellatrix-pairings he's the most realistic one, even though I personally don't really like that couple so much.

He's handsome, rich, kinda smart, Syltherin, PUREBLOOD, very old family with lot's of influence....Bella's family would SO agree with their marriage!!

Well as Bella and Lucius are both strong characters there would have been lot's of fights I think. But that would have made it interesting I think

Its hard to say. I think they would have been at least as good a couple as Rodophlus and Bella were, perhaps better.

She is more unscrupulous than Narcissa and therefore a better match for an arrogant git like Lucius.
