It's something that bothers me more than almost anything else.
Especially after I saw a headlind a little over a year ago "German magazine swaps thin models for real women" as if models aren't people.

Your chromosomes are what determines your gender. Not your fat content.

Tbh I think it's the other way around. I always hear that "Curvy" is ugly and unattractive and skinny is what every woman should be.

@RnBStar, that IS what people think, but the media has started telling people that being thin is unnatural, and as Cassie pointed out, "swapping thin models for real women"? Does that mean that people who are naturally slender are fake people?

Well yeah thin is unhealthy if you aren't naturally like that, some people are some people aren't.

I'm slender, I'm thin, I'm a healthy weight, and yet magazines and the media refer to people my size as "unhealthy".

You're referring to anorexic and bulimic people, I'm referring to naturally slender women who are completely healthy.

I actually don't care.
Magazine "ideals" are not my thing. I am what I am and what I want to be-and that's just the way I am.
Who the hell cares about what people think? As I said I am...*rant*
Yes, I mind it a bit but not really.

Most guys like curvy girls better, but there's guys for every type. Being skinny on purpose though is stupid. Be who you are and how you feel the best is how you'll be loved the most

I don't really care about how the magazines portrays women. I feel very confident about my body and the way I look. I actually feel the same way as Darkshine :)

Im not that slender.Im tall,so Im not that feather-light.So,im saying if you are NATURALLY slender,its good.But when these fashion models starve themselves so that they look "thin",its called 'UNHEALTHY'.
