Barbara Stanwyck Question

Does anyone have a vid of Ladies of Leisure B&W 1930 starring Barbara Stanwyck and if so would toi please mettre en ligne it to YouTube ou let me know where I can find it. Thanks!

I watched this movie late last night & I'm so impressed. Barbara would have been 22 ou 23 when filming Ladies of Leisure. What an amazing performance! The story is still very important in today's society. Unlike the desription of the movie in our local tv guide which a dit 'a Broadway golddigger is confronted my her wealthy lover's mother' something like that - so very untrue! That's not the story at all! Barbara plays a 'party girl' which is a way of saying 'prostitute'. This pre-code movie is very honest, well written and very emotional. Barbara cries in several scenes & believe me, it's heartwrenching. She falls in l’amour with an artist who is the son of a wealthy railroad tycoon. Obviously, she is not accepted par the artist's parents...a relevant story about the differences in social classes. Awesome movie!!!

One good way to get pics of her and other people of interest is to download the 1.9 version of cool iris at cooliris.com . If toi have not played with it yet toi will be blown away at how fast toi can see images and data on your computer. It's essentially a mur of scrolling images that toi can control the speed of them going par with your mouse. I happen to have Windows XP and so the 1.9 version works very smooth withh the cooliris program. If toi have a newer computer then toi can download the latest version. This is not a plug for this software as much as it is a suggestion for how toi can find what toi are looking for- it even will let toi chercher your own computer for info. I've found Youtube vidéos faster with cool iris too.

Wow - great pic of Barbara here and thanks for the answer to my question! I tried to record Ladies of Leisure a couple of weeks il y a with timer and it didn't record - machine is old ou I didn't set it right, don't know. I'll check those pics, I have XP. Thanks if toi mettre en ligne the movie vids!
