Are toi as pissed of as I am that Avatar didn't win a single award??

GOD DAMN KIDS CHOICE AWARDS! How did those Twilight couples beat out Jake And Neytiri??? How Is Miley Cyrus better than Zoe??? ITS LIKE FUCKEN FOR an OLDS VOTED!!

yeah, i was pissed. i didn't watch it but i looked up the results. i really l’amour twilight but i voted everything Avatar that was nominated this year. well, least it was nominated for BEST PICTURE at the oscars and nominated for other stuff to and won some. still pissed though that it didn't win best picture....

Yes, I was pissed off. Avatar was the Best Picture of 2009 and deserved an Oscar. Hurt Locker winning was purely political. Since it had the first woman director and was anti-military, it had the nod in Hollywood. Avatar was the entertainment experience of the an and Hurt Locker was just a cheap B movie.

I was already expecting it anyway. Haha. (I still voted for Jake and Neytiri) Maybe that's why I'm not THAT pissed. lol. But hey! I was kinda surprised with the results, especially the best couple one- Jacob and Bella. Honestly, I thought Mr Vegetarian Vampire and Ms Mary Sue were going to snatch that award... That was a blow to Team Edward that day. MWAHAHAHAHA.

Well I thought the direction in this movie was superb. And I absolutely adored the cinematography. The original language was amazing, and Zoe's performance was a standout but unfortunately fell through the cracks in the nominations. I however haven't seen Hurt Locker which took accueil a good deal of awards, so I can't compare the two. I can say, that I don't think Avatar was the best movie I've ever seen, but it was definitely one of them. So that leaves room for other films to take the crown. I'll have to watch Hurt Locker to see what all the fuss is about :P
