Who doesn't like Asami getting in the way of Makorra?

Nope, I l’amour Masami! I ship Makorra as well. but I really l’amour Asami and if being with Mako makes her happy I l’amour the pair. Not to mention Mako is happy as well, he's usually always frowning ou straight faced, so far (if I'm correct) she was the only one who made him laugh ou even smile. On a different note I don't even thin she is ruining Makorra; toi cant ruin something that never exsisted. Makorra didn't exsist in the montrer there for she didn't ruin it. Asami (seeing as she's not even real) didn't know vues already called dibs on Mako for Korra! I think some viewers set their expectiotions too high, it's as if some had expected Makorra to happen right off the bat. Keep in mind this is only episode for, I'm, pretty sure Asami will break up with Mako (or the other way around) at some point. And I may come off kind of rude here but, weather ou not Makorra happens ou not isn't for toi ou anyone else to decide, it's for the creators of TLOK to decide. Likewise it's not up to me as to weather ou not Asami gets Mako. What ever the writers decide goes. I just hope people don't hate Asami for such a silly reason.

To put it simply, I'm not mad at all, in fact I like Asami with Mako ('ruining Makorra' as toi put it). She's a really sweet girl, seems very friendly and very generous (innocent until proven guilty, as they say). And I just don't understand all the hate a lot of people are placing on her, (particuarlly on tumblr.com) just because she's dateing Mako does not mean she's an equlist, a slut, a b***, and/or a w*** (most of these insults came from tumblr though).

Maybe this is getting off topic but, as a side note, just because she wears make up doesn't mean she's ugly, stuck up, bratty, spoiled, ou as people on tumbler say (and man this one makes me lol) a drag queen...

I don't care about the romance in this show. I don't ship anyone. And it's silly to hate a character just because he/she gets in the way of your ship.

If toi like Makorra, good for toi but it's absolutely stupid to hate religiously on a character who MIGHT mess up your ship.

Besides, We all know Makorra's going to happen. Will it work out? I have no idea. And it's not just Asami, There's that whole Borra thing going on too. ^w^

Like the other two comments, it seems people are against Asami just because she is "getting in the way of Makorra." So what? I'm sure lots of us have seen that picture where Korra kisses him. There will be some kind of Makorra; just not now. I'm saying this for anyone against Asami for this reason, not specifically you; let Mako be lovey-dovey over another girl (please; he's so adorable when he is XD), and perhaps toi will be rewarded in some way. Asami is a sweet girl and does not deserve the hate.

Like many have already stated, I think it's completely ridiculous to hate a character merely because she's disrupting a ship for a couple that hasn't even "coupled" yet.

Asami seems like a great character, and I can only assume that she'll get better. She helped Mako and his team get into the tournament- something they've been striving to do but couldn't, she was accepting of him, and wasn't at all a snob. The only thing I can complain about right now is that she's "too" perfect, but we've only seen her in one episode. ..Another point, this is the first episode with her included, and already people are getting butthurt. Just sit back and watch the show, let it go at its own speed. When the creators mentioned a l’amour triangle (well.. l’amour "square" from what I can see), what did toi expect, a clear cut road?

On a personal note, I'm indifferent about the couples right now. I'm getting plus into the suspense and the major plot.

Ok, how would toi like it if I hated Mako? Saying he's getting in the way of Borra? Seriously, that is really immature.

Asami seems too nice! I mean pretty rich, and nice. Any character that is seen too perfect has got to be crooked. It just seems aléatoire and really suspicious. I wanna say she's with Amon but don't have any proof yet. And her sickly sweetie and Eskimo Kiss is just gross. I mean it's so corny! If she ends up being a straight good guy, then let's say she'll be a victim in a fight and die like yue did. Of course yue gave up her life but this is a different situation.

No. It's frustrating for me when Asami and Mako are blowing kisses and cuddling, because I ship Makorra, but if Asami weren't there, Makorra would be so boring. Even with Bolin liking Korra, Mako liking both Asami and Korra makes for an actual l’amour triangle.

before the 7th episode i realy did not like Asami at all because of the way she charged right in like she owned the place but after what she did and how she saved everyone even Korra and went aginst her own father thats when she gained my trust so lighten up she a good person (inlessit becomes unture) I like her now

To those of toi who think Asami gets in the way of Makorra: Asami is actually helping with Makorra. Without Asami, Korra is just a girl that he MIGHT have feelings for. With Asami, he really does have to figure out his feelings. Because of her, he has no choice but to question himself and his feelings.

I don't hate asami ou messing up makorra because I hate this pairing. If the creator think this makes up for not putting zutara in the montrer they are so wrong. Mako is such q jerk he does even deserve anyone. He tells his brother that it wrong to rendez-vous amoureux, date team mate but yet he decide to rendez-vous amoureux, date her. Wow. I'm pretty sure he kept Korra single for his own selfish needs. He is a jerk. The crappy l’amour triangle doesn't even work.
