Set up like the last two, here's an article about five songs I think relate to Azula and why. Songs aren't in any particular order.

1. Dysfunctional Family par Cinema Bizarre: I'm a threat to myself I'm a get Armageddon I'm a freak I'm a liar I'm a flirt I deny that I'm no good then I mess It up This song basically reminds me of post-comet Azula. After a certain point she did become a threat to herself; I mean she'd do things like jumping off of Appa from a large height that very well could have killed her if Aang didn't intercept. And the liar thing is pretty self-evident. I mean it was quoted in the montrer that "Azula always lies". I don't think she always lies per-say but she's done it a fair amount of times for this to hold true. I get plus and plus strange I'm going insane I'm building it up just to break it down toi get what toi see the product of a dysfunctional family. This set of lyrics definitely reminds me the most of Azula. Her descent into madness was very clearly a rather gradual process--that is to say as the episodes wore on she in essence got "more and plus strange." The going insane part speaks for itself. And of course a good lot of it has to do with the fact that Azula is from such a torn apart family. I'm my own worst rival train wreck, white trash, freak, maniac, I'm psycho I'm a trouble making rebel made a deal with the devil I'm way past ever coming back/

2. Obey Me par Rabia Sorda. This one is going to be a bit different and rather shorter because I actually cannot seem to find the lyrics to this song anywhere so I'll be listing some to the best of my ability. To summarize the song as a whole; it's a political song. It's about a person who was put in power--presumably lying about what he/she was going to accomplish ou simply par people who didn't pay attention to who was being put in power. After this person was donné power he/she started demanding obedience. One of the first lyrics I can pick out is I am the monster toi feed. Of course any Avatar fan has probably noticed that Azula believes that her mother thinks she's a monster. And various other characters seem to think of her in that way as well. And yet many of the people around her still seem to give her power hence the "I'm the monster toi feed". The song then speaks of a bunch of evil deeds and goes into the chorus, believe me I'll save toi just obey me. In essence this reminds me of Azula's ability to manipulate. She gets people to think that she's on their side/they want what she wants. And from there she just wants power and obedience. She wants control. Those are the lyrics I could really pick up with 100% certainty. But it's still enough to remind me of Azula.

3. Rx par MXMS. First and foremost, I adore this song so much. It's just so beautiful. And of all the songs I think this one reminds me most of Azula. I don't sleep, and I won't get me down low, keep me down low
get me down low, keep me down low a demon sigh, she opens wide.
The first line reminds me of Azula's paranoia and how she was having sleeping trouble in the comet hence "I don't sleep an I won't." Furthermore she seems to be at a point in her life where she is down low and people seem intent on keeping her that way. The a demon sigh part kind of just loosely reminds me of when Azula just started breathing feu at the end of Sozin's Comet. I montrer teeth, my poupées won't play with me get me down low, keep me down low get me down low, keep me down low a girl in a cage, if I miss a pill, she says--kill, kill. I've always interpreted the "dolls" part as a metaphor for loneliness. The poupées would be friends/real people. That is to say real people won't talk to her. This reminds me of how Mai and Tylee betrayed Azula and how she really had no one par the end of the show. As for the "girl in a cage" bit; it reminds me of Azula in two ways. The first way is in that she is kind of caged within Ozai's expectations. The seconde way is after she got put in the asylum that would very clearly be a cage. Following that line of thought the part about missing a pill makes me think of a modern jour AU. The final lyric that reminds me of Azula in this song is; Keep me down low, doctor a dit so there's things in the past that I never let go but I'm just a girl and I wanna go home
(Go home).
Of all the things in the song, I think that this is the part that reminds me the most of Azula. For instance the thing in the past she can't let go of is that she thinks her mom sees her as a monster. ou those things her father taught her to be. But at the end of the jour she's only 14 years old, she probably just wants to go home/regain a sense of safety and stability.

4. Gasoline par porcelaine And The Tramps. On a less sad, plus badass note, I totally see this song describing Azula. Don't get in my face don't invade my l’espace I'll put toi in your place I'll only tell toi once
I'll never tell toi twice and this is me being nice.
Right off the bat this song is fiery and explosive like Azula. She's definitely the head chienne in charge lol. No one gets in Azula's face ou invades her space. I mean look what happened when Sokka tried that during the jour of black sun. Her giving a person one warning is her being nice. Most of the time she just throws fire. 'Cause I'm highly flammable a caged up animal I will go off on toi toi better take it back I'm about to snap I will go off on you. Naturally any mention of flames, fire, and flammability reminds me of the princess. And where's the lie, Azula is plus than highly flammable. She's that person whose buttons toi don't want to push because if toi do you're gonna get burned. When it's your turn you'll get your lesson learned you'll be blister burnt feed my adrenaline it's going to do toi in I'm seeing red again. This verse reminds me of her fighting as well. Like how many people has she taken down? A lot of people MDR and when she gets going, for the most part she's unstoppable. The last lyrics before the chorus repeats itself is; You traverser, croix me once and you'll see it's like a match in gasoline, gasoline. These lines, again, remind me of how badass and dangerous she is. Like no one wants to traverser, croix Azula even once.

5. Crazy par Gnarls Barkley. I suppose this one is sort of a given. I remember when, I remember, I remember when I Lost my mind there was something so pleasant about that place even your emotions had an echo in so much space. This is the opening verse. This definitely just reminds me of that initial snap during the comet. How up until the end she seemed almost happy, granted she wasn't. And when you're out there without care, yeah, I was out of touch but it wasn't because I didn't know enough I just knew too much. Of all the verses in the song, this is the one that reminds me of Azula the most. I think most of her break came from the very fact that she knew and had seen plus than a girl her age should have. All of the political pressure that was put on her caused her to snap. She didn't go crazy for lack of knowledge, but because of it. One can also interpret this as a plus paranoid frame of thought--the knowing too much was Azula thinking that she knew someone was out to kill her. Does that make me Crazy? Probably. And I hope that toi are having the time of your life but think twice, that's my only advice. The above would be a part of the chorus. I'm rather certain that after a while Azula probably started to wonder if she was crazy. And at some point likely concluded that the answer is yes. I base this assumption on a few lines in one of the Avatar livres I read a while back. And for that the chorus reminds me of her. Following the chorus is the part about thinking twice; this part also reminds me of that kind of psudo-happy state she was in while battling Zuko. Hence "I hope you're having the time of your life but think twice." Who do you, who do you, who do you, who do toi think toi are, ha ha ha bless your soul toi really think you're in control. Much like the other line this one reminds me of Azula in that she's so used to having control that for a while she probably thought she still had it. But the that was far from the truth. The suivant verse reminds me of her the seconde most; My Heroes had the cœur, coeur to lose their lives out on a limb and all I remember is thinking, I want to be like them ever since I was little, ever since I was little it looked like fun and it's no coincidence I've come and I can die when I'm done. So who were her heroes? People like Ozai and Sozin. Ozai in particular had a pretty wild defeat; in a way he Lost his life. Of course that's a metaphor--what's dead is his ability to bend and all of his work. And ever since Azula was a child she looked up to them--it looked like fun to be like them. And so she did become like them. And because of that it's no coincidence that she Lost it.

This was originally written for tumblr.

I actually feel like ‘Canadian’ Azula would make a lot of sense and would be hella cute. For those of toi who aren’t caught up with that; Aaron Ehasz made his redemption arc tweet (see the images below) and a dit that he was thinking of redeemed Azula being overly apologetic and overshare a lot. He joked that it’d be a Canadian version of Azula.

At first I was kind of iffy about this but after really thinking about it; I feel like it would make sense. Azula is a person who has bottled things up, kept a wicked pokerface, built up so many walls, and...

*Food in the Avatar World*

Naressa:

"Hey all. As some of toi know and thank toi for being so kind to reach out to me and speaking to me, though I work in the medical field now I am a culinary school graduate and worked for over a decade in the culinary arts field. Have always been very interested in the foods of Avatar, though they are rarely mentioned. As such, based on seeing them and the brief mention some nourriture are given, thought I would open up a discussion about the nourriture and recipes from ATLA and LoK. Want to share my recipes. All of the recipes I'll share have been tested par me yes? Please...

This article may contain some spoilers, particularly for those who haven't read Smoke and Shadow yet.

In The chercher one common thing that kept getting bought up was Ursa telling Azula to "take off that mask, only then will toi see your true destiny." Recently another layer was added with the semi-recent announcement of the Kemurikage becoming the feu Warriors--the feu Nation equivalent of the Kyoshi Warriors. And naturally Azula is their leader.

This just got me thinking about Azula's fate in general. Personally, I think that this role (as a feu Warrior) Suits – Avocats sur Mesure her way plus than being the...

Azula’s state was plus than fragile. He was only doing what he thought was best at the time. She was still chained to the iron gate when they arrived to take her away. This was her third major break since the comet—fourth if one included the one on the jour of the comet. Zuko forced himself to watch; she was still putting up a fight—a good one at that. Screaming fire, jerking violently, attempting to bite them if they got close enough.

She looked like an animal…an animal that had found the body of a human and took it over. She was nothing like the calm and collected Azula he knew.

Eventually...

As I was typing another one of my really long comments, I decided I would make it into an article. This one is a sort of analysis of Azula's relationships with her family and Friends as well as why I think she isn't very good with her social skills.

To start, Azula's mom didn't seem to like her. Though I'm sure Ursa did, Azula just didn't think so. And that's what matters. As a parent, toi need to make sure your child knows toi l’amour her/him. Ursa neglected Azula because she thought Ozai's respect for her was enough. And because she thought Zuko needed her l’amour more. Which was not true, Azula...
