Stacey and I were just discussing the need for a banner and icon change, considering we've had this one for quite some time now. We also have a bunch of season 4 scenes which are now capped and out. If you are interested in submitting a banner and icon, you may do so.

This forum is open for two weeks

If you wish to make a banner/icon request to someone who you know makes wonferul fanart, that's fine. Just tell them to post it here because I need all the submissions so that I can make the pick where we can vote on which icon/banner choice we want.

*EDIT*: We are planning on changing the icon for starters, so just post all your icons. I'll add them all to a big pick and ask you all to vote on your favorite :)

Do you think I should make a request to the person who made our current banner? I actually don't know her at all; Naima does. But she's immensely talented. I feel that since we asked her only months ago it'll be like an imposition.

There's also the option of just changing the icon.

Sounds good, my dear. We can ask her, but first let's change the icon and see. Do you have any particular icons you'd like? I guess it should be from season 4, but there are so many icons on this spot and elsewhere, that I'm not exactly sure where to start. If we can get ten solid icon choices that we pool together or make/have already made, then I can make the pick by the end of this week or earlier :)

And this one. Obviously, the first one I made is not going to work, so I'm not even going to bother putting it into the pick because it doesn't match the banner. It's not soft enough. The second one doesn't work either, but that was just a fail. This one barely works. lol. I'll have to soften with my icons a whole lot.

Well, I did say the banner should be season 4 but more importantly the icon. Because that's what stands out the most. Ohhhhh! Yours are stunning, Rose! I'm in love with them. You are so talented! They work way better with the banner than mine do. They're all going in the pick. I'm only going to put two of mine [the third and fourth] in the pick because the other three are not going to work at all. And we don't have the soul kiss in the banner, so if it'd be nice if it was the icon.

OH! That's gorgeous, my love. Absolutely, positively gorgeous.

I know- it's the eyes. I was searching my screencaps of this episode to choose the best one when he's hugging her and it was that one. That particular capture of him is just epic :D

Yes, you remind me when season 4 ends that we have to change it to the soul kiss. Or maybe we can do a monthly icon change, if we get really into this xD

I like the idea of a monthly change.
we can make an icon of the best scene in the month.

YES! Best scene of the month- like we can have a vote on the theme that we want, in fact. We can start off October with a season 4 episode 1 icon and start voting for a theme a month in November and so on.

Okay humour me all. I assume, once all the submissions are made we would create a segment for the banner for everyone in the group to vote on, so it is fair and not a select few and the same for the icon. Then you will have a demographic overview of what the collective actually likes. Just asking. Not being a trouble maker.

Of course we'll do this, Stacey. everyone can submit or propose here and once we have enough submissions for banner and icon there will be a pick on which everyone can vote on ;)

How did you like it, love? I liked the novel, but I never saw the movie. I've gotten mixed feedback in the past, but I always keep forgetting to download it on my iPad to see for myself.

Everyone seems to really like the idea from your pick. So... I'll keep this open until...shall we say Monday? And then we can make the pick?

Okay, now I'm definitely going to have to see it. I'm downloading it now in fact. The novels are really good, as well. Did you really? My cousins are always bashing Louis. It's amusing to watch how crazy they get. Sometimes I get involved. And it's not pretty watching me bash someone. lol. I've seen Queen of the Damned as well!
