Saying first name before last name is too Americanized.
Its common thing in Japan to say first last name then first name.

I usually do this. but it depends on the character :p

Its simple-

You watch sub your going to say it last then first.
You watch dub you going to say it first then last.

If your language naturally english your more likely to say first then last.
If your from Asia or are just fanatical about these things your going to say last then first.

I just say the one that I like personally like usually for one piece I say Monkey D. Luffy and for bleach I usually say Aizen Sosuke but for naruto I usually say Sasuke Uchiha because I watched naruto FIRST in dub so I am used to the name. I also say Kisuke Urahara because i first heard his name in Dub.

I really just depends EMBRACE THESE DIFFERENT WAYS OF SAYING THERE NAME! and personalize it for yourself (as long as you dont take to far) for example I call Aizen, Ai-Tan. haha so really what does it matter as long as were anime fans and were not making fun of the name we should we able to say it how we wish.

I agree with Rusty. I dont expect people who arent form Japan to say it this way.

people are going to put it how they're most comfortable. i personally put first then last. it's how i'm doing it for the book i'm writing, turning R-V season one manga into a book
