I don't really like Shounen protagonist trope but Goku, Ichigo and Maka are exceptions.

My absolute favorite protagonist, and one of my favorite characters of all time.

I don't need Lucy. I'm picking Soma because everyone else are just too over picked for power levels and I don't watch power level animes that much anymore. Slice of Life is much better than any shounen because I don't need to see characters fight all the time, I rather sit and watch shows that are almost zero action packed.
