So from the link, there is an interest in updating the banner.

Guidelines to posting: (Please follow)
1. Your character list should be in one single post. I do check edited posts. Separate character lists will very likely be ignored.
2. Character suggestions are limited to one character per anime
3. Post up to 10 characters
4. Include the characters' full name and the anime they are from
5. Separate your character list by old characters already in the banner and new characters that are currently not present
6. Leave a special mention on the one character that you really want in the banner
7. If you suggest a character that is already in the banner, also include in brackets if you want to change the image of the character

Example:
Old characters:
Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece) ->Please be sure to include Luffy
Kurosaki Ichigo (Bleach) [change]
Lucy (Elfen Lied)

New characters:
Gasai Yuno (Mirai Nikki)
Heiwajima Shizuo (Durarara!!)

I can't guarantee that all the characters will be included but I'll try my best. I'll post updates as we go along. And if you're interested in how it went last year, click link

*Please keep in mind that If I include a character in an update, it does not mean that character will be in the final banner. If you really want a certain character, check point #6 and/or get others to put that character in their list.

I am aware that people might think that my suggestions are a bit... odd, since some of the characters I suggested for the banner and the anime they come from aren't very well known, but that's the point. Putting these characters on the banner gives them more free press, which is a good thing. Famous anime icons such as Goku from Dragon Ball Z and Usagi from Sailor Moon are important, but there's more to anime than just the well-known ones.

It's like choosing characters for a roster in a Marvel Vs. Capcom game. Sure, it's good to have big-name characters like Ryu from Street Fighter and Wolverine from X-Men, but sometimes, it's better to go with more obscure choices such as Nova, Iron Fist, Phoenix Wright, and Firebrand.

I've shifted the banner a bit to the right. I haven't figured out how to deal with the annoying black fade in the banner

From what I've seen, Hetalia seems to have a lot of characters If you'd like to have a character from Hetalia I'd rather it be a consensus. So if you could make a pick/poll or use answers I suppose and show me the results, I'll put in the winning character.

P.S. I really hate the black fade in the banners

I'd prefer a banner with characters that don't suck major ass *coughcough*, but whatever.

I would suggest GoLion (better known as Voltron) for the banner, but I don't know if giant robots are allowed, considering that they aren't really actual characters (that, and GoLion/Voltron wasn't popular until it came over to the USA).

of your current Work in progress banner, I think you should change either Natsu or Luffy's picture. there's already a pretty big argument about the two shows' similarities, and it just so happens that their poses are very similar :/

and I'm pretty satsified with the character choices so far, thanks for putting all the effort into making the banner, it's greatly appreciated.

Oh I didn't even notice. I will change either Luffy or Natsu's picture in the next update.
No it does not have to be a popular character. But I'm trying to include the characters that are on most people's list.

It looks good, but I don't like how Ken, Tenma, and Sailor Moon are placed. Their heads are just barely poking out from behind the others.

Ah don't thank me yet, depending on the character counts, I might have to remove characters that only have one count to make room for others.
So that's 3 counts for Itachi. I will add him in the next update
