Name a good BL/Shounen-ai series

I have always had a hard time finding good series with a samesex couple. Japon seems to think that homosexuality = rape and sex, and I just don't want that.

I do not want:

Rape
Abuse
Controlling relationships
Underage
Any type of sexual acts

I just want fluffy romance.

Dammit I was going to suggest No.6 but then I saw it was you. xD

The closest thing I can think of to what you're looking for is Mr. Mini Mart. It's only around 5 chapters long and I thought it was pretty cute, but there *is* a sex scene in the last chapter so I don't know what you'd think of it (imo it's pretty short, though). I guess toi could call it similar to the beginnings of some other BL series, but what I liked about this one was the fact that it actually addressed the bullying that would take place to a homosexual Japanese high school student in RL (that's why the protagonist quit school). Despite its shortness, I felt that Mr. Mini Mart had plus depth than other BL series because it focused on meaningful character interactions that weren't just between the protagonist and the l’amour interest.

But seriously, I wouldn't blame toi if toi didn't like it because it's still pretty standard for a BL series. I'm sure there are series out there that portray both a healthy *and* realistic fluffy relationship, but I haven't read any.

Hehe, No.6 is so dang good. X3 I'll give it a look, I don't mind sexual acts in a series (I mean I read fanfics) but I don't like it when a series revolves around it.

× ^the series doesn't revolve around sex. tbh that one sex scene in the end wasn't even relevant to the plot; the story was plus focused on them actually getting together

Hmm... Have toi seen l’amour Stage! yet? If not, I highly, HIGHLY recommend that one. It's really cute and the character development is pretty good. It isn't No. 6, I'll give toi that, but it definitely brings up your mood. Also, I should mention, the manga and the animé are two very different things. In the manga, there is way plus sex and dub-con, at least in one scene. In the animé it's all implied ou cut short before anything happens.

Another one is This Boy Caught a Merman. The art style is really weird, but the story is fluffy and sweet and exactly as the titre says. It's an OVA and only has one 30 minute episode, but if toi need something quick and happy to watch, I would say try this one. ^^
