Post your favori western comic book series.

This may seem to be going off topic, but I am asking a group of animé fans this question, so its answer is relevant to animé (ie, what kind of comic livres do animé fans like?).

Mine are the rue Fighter comics created par Udon. The artwork feels like it's been painted on to the pages, and has real video game art quality. Here's the cover of the most récent volume.

Of course, rue Fighter is a Japanese product. My favori western comic franchise that started out as a western comic is X-Men. It's a lot like an animé in that it involves a school of super-powered students.
Post your favori western comic book series.

I l’amour a lot of the Marvel and DC Comics but my favori series would have to be Legion of Super-Heroes.

oh nice. i saw that they had a school-aged version of that comic (Legion Lost) and a crossover with étoile, star Trek recently. I haven't gotten into the series myself, but it has crossed over with Teen Titans, which I do follow, so I have to know a little bit about Legion Lost.

Strictly speaking, they aren't exactly comic livres as they were once printed in American newspapers-I have them in book collection form-but I l’amour the Calvin and Hobbes dessins animés par Bill Watterson (pictured) and the Far Side dessins animés par Gary Larson.
