I am looking for an awesome anime! What should I watch?

I am trying to step out of my usual taste for Shoujo/Magical Girl, though I am considering rewatching some old sailor moon episodes. All I want is an exciting one that will leave me hooked (I have a bad habit of getting bored and destracted in the middle of watching a montrer on the internet and going somewhere else) Some animes I have considered include Hellsing Ultimate, and Fullmetal Alchemist (which I have already started, yet stopped on episode 4. I have also considered Wolfs Rain, Fairy Tale, Soul Eater, and Fruits Basket.
Which among these should I pick? If toi have any shows to reccommend, please soumettre them! :)

Soul Eater is good it's just really badly made and i got bored par season 1. Another non Shoujo animé is Code Geass, it's about a rebellion and had lot's of action but is really epic and amazing from what i've seen ( still not finished). And yes i totally know the distracted feeling lol. So how are toi liking FMA?

for FMA? the écriture is superb and very witty/intelligent a lot of great citations as well, just wait the seconde season is the best

toi might also want to try Sword Art Online. I was immediately enthralled with it and needed plus after the first episode. Maybe it'll be the same for you?

Fullmetal! :3 Although, I don't know what to tell toi about your easily distracted problem...Because most people can't look away from it. But there isn't too much story line yet par episode 4. If toi can, watch a little plus so it gets into their up-to-date lives :) toi might also want to try Sword Art Online. I was immediately enthralled with it and needed plus after the first episode. Maybe it'll be the same for you?

My brother is a fan of swoard art online! He told me himself that even during finals week he pulled an all-nighter to watch the series!

Out of these 4 I think that soul eater is the best, fruits basket is also awesome, but I don't like the art much and fairy tail i cool too, but it's pretty long so toi might get bored half the way. The other one I haven't watched. I also recommend mirai nikki, pandora hearts, sankarea, hidan no aria, death note, baccano, deadman wonderland and ao no exorcist(pic)
